Le Lodge du Bassin, in complete tranquility

In the heart of Burgundy, in a quiet region ideal for a gentle rest, there is an unusual cottage where it is good to relax: In absolute calm. The place offers rooms and accommodation that are both relaxing and cosy for unusual stays in the countryside.

Au Calme Absolute, these are places of accommodation in the spirit of the times that will certainly disorient visitors of all kinds. Whether you come here as a couple or with friends, the enchantment is always there.

All the accommodations give access to a jacuzzi located outdoors to relax in a green setting, where fauna and flora are privileged. On the property there is an old washhouse, a large pond and multiple intimate spaces spread over the 5000m2 of garden.

The Lodge is a large loft of 60 M2 on the first floor below the accommodation "Le Calme Complet".
It is very bright with a view of the pond and the garden, all comfort in the heart of nature and quiet. You can enjoy the suspended bed and the view through its large windows on the basin with its water jet in summer. Its corded wood wall made entirely by hand gives an exceptional charm. It is independent of the house, The Lodge is located in a green setting where you can see the animals in freedom, near the lake.
Like other travellers, you have access to the entire garden with its pond, you can also enjoy the armchairs and the table, the swing and the hammock that are available.

The Jacuzzi is outside under a shade veil and is shared with three other accommodations. One night entitles you to a 40-minute session. It is operational until 11:30 pm and from 8:30 am in the morning.

Parking is available. You can CHARGE YOUR VEHICLE during your stay for hybrid cars €5 and electric cars €10.

OUR OPTIONS: FULL breakfast for €10 per person as well as mixed dinner board for €15 per person.
We offer other options such as: chocolate fountain, petal throw, bouquet of flowers, brazier, marshmallow (depending on the season), our aperitif wines, our Crémants and our Champagnes, etc.

** AUXERRE at 14 km with its various parks including the Arbre Sec at the water's edge, its St-Etienne cathedral, its St-Eusèbe church, the Natural History Museum, not to mention its covered markets on Tuesday and Friday mornings, its Clock Tower dating from the fifteenth century in the heart of the downtown and the Cadet Roussel course.
** TOUCY the heart of the Puisaye at 15 km is a very a beautiful little town in the countryside, it is even the birthplace of PIERRE LAROUSSE. To be discovered with its large market on Saturday mornings, voted the most beautiful market in Burgundy in 2018 and 2019 by TF1, its fortified church of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries with its brick and half-timbered houses, its pond, its discovery hikes and art galleries, its many restaurants, not to mention its tourist train with a 34 km route.
**ST SAUVEUR EN PUISAYE 30 km away where the museum of Colette, the famous author and novelist, is located. You can visit his house and garden.
** TREIGNY at 32 km is located THE UNIQUE CASTLE OF GUEDELON.
But also: the castles of Saint-Fargeau, Ratilly, the picturesque village of Druyes the beautiful fountains, the fortified village of Toucy and Noyers sur Serein, the town of Vézelay and its basilica, the caves of Arcy sur Cure and its entire valley, the lake of Bourdon.
At the park of the wood of the Folie in Treigny, you can go tree climbing and not far from there, the fauna and flora as well as 400 animals await you at the park of Boutissaint.
At the Bailly la Pierre cellar in St-Bris le Vineux, visit and taste of Crémant de Bourgogne (a speciality of our region) as well as Chablis and its famous white wines.
