Pros:
The staff were warm, courteous, and welcoming throughout our stay, and the resort grounds were beautifully maintained. The variety of included activities was excellent, and the dog-sitting service was particularly impressive and much appreciated.
Cons:
Unfortunately, the overall level of service did not meet expectations for a five-star property. Despite several requests and follow-ups, we were unable to have towels delivered to our room. The breakfast buffet was below standard, offering a very limited selection, and we were disappointed to find flies embedded in the oat milk. Service at the alternative breakfast venue was notably slow and inattentive. Additionally, some of the food offerings, including those at the fine dining restaurant Soufflé de Vie, were not of acceptable quality.
The spa service was pleasant and professionally delivered; however, it did not reflect the price point. Moreover, the final amount charged for our ₱19,000 couples treatment included unexpected additional fees that were not disclosed at the time of booking. This discrepancy was only discovered after checkout, and upon contacting the hotel, we were informed these were supplementary charges.
Overall, while certain aspects of the stay were enjoyable, the experience as a whole did not align with the standards expected of a five-star resort.
