O Ninho – Your Nest on the Coast Near Ericeira

Welcome to O Ninho, your personal retreat on the Portuguese Atlantic coast, just 35 minutes from Lisbon and close to the famous surfing town of Ericeira (an 8-minute drive)! São Lourenço Beach, including its beach bar, is within walking distance—about an 8-minute walk. Our spacious and lovingly furnished home offers plenty of room for couples and small families seeking relaxation surrounded by nature and the ocean, with easy access to the city.

The home features an open-concept living and dining area with a cozy wood-burning stove, a comfortable bedroom for two with an adjoining bathroom, and a lovingly designed children’s room. An additional upper floor offers another bedroom, a workspace, and a relaxation area with an extra sofa bed if needed. The private patio and the large, south-facing, secluded garden create a quiet, private, nature-filled atmosphere and ensure that you can enjoy the sun all day long when the weather is nice. A veranda and an outdoor kitchen, including a grill (brand-new, as is the outdoor furniture, so not yet shown in the pictures), invite you to spend relaxing evenings outdoors, and a pool (3m in diameter) is ideal for cooling off and for children.

The region around Ericeira is known as Europe’s first World Surfing Reserve and offers a variety of first-class surf spots that are just a short distance from the house. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, surfers will find everything they’re looking for here, and a Foamy softboard is available for beginners. In addition, there are numerous yoga classes and excellent restaurants serving regional and international delicacies.

Thanks to high-speed internet and its peaceful location, O Ninho is also ideal for working from home—work in an inspiring environment and then enjoy the ocean and nature. All major amenities, such as shopping, cafés, and stunning beaches—including some of Europe’s best surf spots—are also within easy reach.
