It didn't feel value for money, there was nothing I could describe as VIP access selected property. The room given was just next to the big conference room, that staff was cleaning up until midnight, making noise. The room itself quite specious, with normal amenities that any other hotel provides.
The most shocking experience was sat the from desk, when requested later check out, by one hour and I was decided. The way it was handled was just appalling. I came to run marathon in Lisbon on the day of the check out and it was extremely important to me to come back to the hotel and take quick shower. This was explained to receptionist who robotically was answering the same phrase all over agin that it is not possible, firstly because the room is already allocated to someone else and when challenged that the housekeeping will still have 2 hours to clean the apartment before 3pm check in rules, the receptionist changed his approach saying that this is the management decision and he can't do anything about it.
When came back to the hotel to collect my luggage, I was forced to clean myself up in the public toilet of your hotel. It was rather humiliating, something I have never experienced in my life. I am coming every year to Lisbon 2 or 2 times to take part in various activities. You're the only hotel that denied my late check out. Horrible experience. I should have stick to My Story Hotels chain.It's nothing VIP about this hotel that Expedia promises to deliver. Never gain!
