Wonderful
I loved Vila Garden. Wonderful staff who were so kind to help us even with our luggage. Pleasant and cosy rooms with a generous m2 area and nice furnishings. Thank you very much.

Mysigt, trevligt, familjärt guesthouse. Vi var mycket nöjda.Tyvärr avslutades vistelsen med irritation då vi ombads betala någon slags skatt vid incheckningen. Vi trodde att allt var betalt avseende rummet. Feedback till hotels.com: se till att ALLT ingår i priset man får vid bokningen.

Ett perfekt ställe att bo på i Lissabon
Ett hotell med jätte fräscha rum.och mycket bra städning., ett extra plus var den trevliga utomhus trädgården med apelsin träd. Personalen var mycket trevlig och hjälpte gärna till med tips på restauranger och sevärdheter. Hotellet var lätt att hitta och låg nära tunnelbanan

Modern apartment without an elevator
Newly renovated apartment in great condition. There were on the other hand no elevator and dragging heavy suitcases to the forth floor wasn't a pleasure. The girl that worked in the reception when we checked in was polite but didn't say a word about Lisbon. We had to ask for a city map, the direction to the city center, tourist attractions and so on. The price for the apartment was a bit high concerning the location but all together it was a very pleasant stay.

Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Stor och ren lägenhet med tre rum. Tyvärr fanns det bara luftkonditionering i 2 av rummen. Var perfekt att ha ett kök för att göra frukost mm. Lätt att ta sig till olika platser i Lissabon.

A very quiet and safe area closed to 2 metro stations. Dining options are plentiful in the vicinity. Staff was courteous, friendly, and accommodating. Apartment was large and clean. Bedding was comfortable and clean. AC worked perfectly at the time of stay.

Abbiamo soggiornato 6 notti in un appartamento al 4.piano, con due stanze grandi, bagno comodo, cucina con frigo. Non c'è l'ascensore, ma una bella scalinata in legno. Pulito, spazioso e silenzioso. Letti comodi, ottima la pulizia. Ottimo sistema di check in fuori dagli orari di reception. Possibilità di lasciare i bagagli dopo il check out. Ottima la pasticceria Docel per una colazione super a soli 5 minuti a piedi. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Grazie! Katia e famiglia

We arrived around 1:00am and check-out was 11:00am. I was picking up our rental car at the airport and the front desk kicked out my family from the room because they didn't allow them to stay 30 minutes extra, or they would charge another day. I talked to the front desk clerk from the airport to let him know I would arrive back to the hotel very soon; I arrived at 11:25 to find my family in the reception area packing our luggage.

Dear Micky, We are very sorry that your stay with us had a last time trouble. Unfortunately what you described in your comment is not correct. We left you had a late check out until 13h00 (check-out is until 12h00 and not 11h00) but it was almost 14h00 when all the family finally left the apartment. Our check-ins start at 14h00 so as you can imagine we have to have time to clean the room and prepare everything. I hope you understand. Thank You

The staff was awesome and we really enjoyed the little garden in the backyard. The room was perfect and I have nothing negative to say about the hotel. The only downside was the location, there's a lot of poverty around with people begging, while living in tents so we avoided to walk around during the evening.

Un très bon compromis prix-qualité-emplacement !
Cet hôtel n’est pas dans le centre ville mais à moins d’un Km sur une grande avenue, et à environ 150m du métro, il permet de rejoindre en quelques minutes seulement les principaux monuments du cœur de Lisbonne. La chambre était propre, pratique et joliment aménagée avec une télé et un frigo. A l’accueil, tous étaient très serviables, attentifs et à la recherche de solution. Deux exemples : un matin nous parlions de notre programme en mangeant dans la petite cuisine commune quand la dame gentiment est venue m’indiquer une grève des métros, nous nous sommes adaptés quand d’autres touristes rencontrés ont attendu une heure sur les quais. Le dernier jour, nous avions peur que le chauffeur pour l’aéroport nous ait oublié, il a commencé à appeler un taxi en attendant juste au cas où pour que nous n’ayons pas de retard, finalement notre chauffeur est arrivé mais nous avions un plan b. Par ailleurs, en bas des escaliers devant la porte, à gauche un petit supermarché pour vos courses et à droite un café pour les petits déjeuners permettent d’assurer les repas si on veut rester sur place.Merci la Vila Garden Guesthouse !

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was spotless with a lovely view for the morning when I opened the shutters. I forgot my charger and adaptor when leaving for an early morning flight and they mailed it back to me. The bakery they recommended for breakfast was awesome and we truly enjoyed the convenience to the metro. Recommend highly.

A lovely stay
A lovely peaceful stay. Accommodation and facilities were also wonderful and perfect for relaxation. A little out of the way so need a car or commit to Ubers, don’t rely on public transport. Would recommend staying.

Great place!
We booked an apartment and can really recommend a stay at Vila Garden Guesthouse. The apartment was spacious and clean and the staff was really friendly. It was over 40 degrees outside, but the air-conditioning worked as a charm, keeping it cold and comfy inside. The location was great, walking distance to city center and close to metro. We will definitely stay here again.
