“A nice hotel for an english country experience. Some parts of the hotel had seen better days, and unfortunately our room was located in one of the more tired parts of the hotel. Getting from reception/restaurant to the room was a hassle with a great number of stairs and hallways. The breakfast and the grounds both were great. The pub, where we had a couple of meals was fine some days, but one evening the meals were clearly forgotten and rushed when remembered. The wi-fi was down two whole days,...

There were plenty of options for eating within walking distance. We were always able to park at the back of the hotel. Friendship Hotel suited us well for our short break.”
