Our second stay on January 9, 2026 was extremely disappointing and far below the standards expected from a Marriott property.
Although a young front desk associate was polite, an older staff member who came from the back room and assisted us was rude and dismissive. We were assigned a room with an unacceptable washroom condition — when sitting on the toilet, you would nearly touch the water. It was unsanitary and very uncomfortable. When we requested a different room on the same floor (where other rooms were available), she refused and instead offered a room upstairs. We had specifically booked an accessible room on that floor, yet she questioned why we needed it and asked for justification before considering a change. Due to accessibility concerns, moving upstairs was not an option.
Additionally, the laundry facilities were not working — both the washer and dryer were out of service, which caused further inconvenience.
To make matters worse, during breakfast I found a piece of meat mixed into the scrambled eggs. I do not consume meat, so the entire portion became inedible. When I informed the staff member, the concern was dismissed and attributed to another guest, which seemed unlikely given that the meat sandwiches were individually packaged.
Between the rude service, unacceptable room condition, non-functioning laundry, and breakfast issue, this was one of the most unpleasant hotel experiences I have had.
