Captivating views from sunrise to sunset overlooking expansive salt ponds and open water from this newly renovated 2-story, waterfront home. This waterfront Little Torch Key home is situated on a tranquil corner lot in the Mates Beach neighborhood. This home has been stylishly upgraded and features a spacious free-flowing floor plan with granite countertops and stainless appliances. The views from every window will make you feel like you're in paradise at each glance. After a day on the water, dock your boat at the new concrete dock and enjoy your fresh catch on one of the many spacious wrap-around decks overlooking the canal and salt ponds. 2 charming guest bedrooms will greet your guests with a sun-filled welcome and a private door in each leading out to a relaxing deck. The massive owner's suite comes complete with a large, private balcony with open water views, offering an oasis of peace and relaxation. The natural light floods the ensuite spa-like bathroom, featuring a soaking tub, large walk in closet and custom tile shower. Just a short boat ride awaits world class fishing, diving and boating. Relax on a nearby sandbar like the content keys or picnic island or explore nearby Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary.

The Pool was completed in 2024 and is a salt water system complete with a heater for those cold months and a chiller for those hot summer days. The two waterfalls provide calming sounds and even provide a little massage when you stand under them. The deep end hosts a cocktail bench for the big kids while the shallow end has a sun shelf for tanning or the little ones to play safely. Enjoy the light show as the colored lights provide a fun atmosphere.

The lower level has a 500lbs/day commercial ice machine so no more running into town before those fishing trips. A bait freezer to store as much bait as you could need. And a Pit Boss smoker to cook the day’s catch. You will also find power and water at the dock for your boat needs. Additionally there is a 100 gallon fuel bulk tank with a 12 V pump to save you time and money by getting a fuel truck straight to the house.

Enjoy after hours with drinks around the fit pit table or make s’mores with the kids. The private font swinging porch with twinkling lights also makes for a great after hours hangout.

Bikes are available to cruise around the neighborhood, to Kiki’s bar or up and down the many bike paths. Two kayaks and paddle board are also included a short paddle will get you into the salt flats and neighboring bird sanctuary.

Dane & Erika were awesome hosts! The backyard was our favorite spot. Home is on the canal, the warm pool, the sand area with palms looks like it’s own little beach with a hammock. The home has awesome touches like a grill and a smoker, ice machine multiple fridges and freezers. Great sunrise and sunset views and convenient to our fav beaches and restaurants.

Great Location Lower Keys

Overall the property is nice and as described. The house was well appointed and the pool is nice. Centrally located in the Lower Keys. Communication with the owner Erika went smoothly addressing the items that were not present as described. When we arrived, much to our surprise, the house located 50 ft. away on the right had been torn down and a new stick build construction was in full progress. For the next 28 days we listened to a compressor, 4 nail guns, saws and assorted other power tools run from 8:15 am to 6:15 pm, 6 days a week.Along with the new house construction and the neighbor's (next to the new build) barking dogs, from 7am to 11pm, really ruined the peace and tranquility we expected on our vacation.

Perfect Location

Absolutely wonderful property in the Keys. Centrally located between Marathon and Key West...about 25 minutes to each. You have great open water views to the East, and of course the canal out back. Lots of activity in the canal, including manatees. Kiki's Bar and Grill is just a short walk down the road!! House is very updated and has a commercial ice machine that saves a lot of time and money. Neighbors are great! I would definitely recommend this property!

One word……Perfect

The Hannah’s were absolutely incredible hosts. They were always available for text or call and answered every question. Went above and beyond by sharing fishing secrets and borrowing us a trap. The place itself has everything. Everything is super modern and nice. We had family all over the keys for the 5 weeks we were here. This centralized location between marathon and key west is perfect for hitting all the hot spots of either. The smoker was a great perk too as we brought many meats with us from home. It was nice to come home to a meal some nights instead of going out every night. The canal is deep and full of life. We seen it all in there: sharks, snakes, iguanas, seahorses, jellyfish, shrimp, crabs, and several types of fish. Bring a light at night for the canal. We seen several large Tarpon right off the dock. This is the real keys life. Away from all the touristy stuff the other areas have. This is a place where nature lives. Lots of hidden gems in this area to explore. And if you’re a fisherman it’s in a very prime spot. We’re booked to stay again next year and looking forward to it!

Family vacation

Let me start by saying that Dane & Erika were very responsive to all of our questions and were very informative about the area. When we arrived at the house, we were very pleased with the location and the ample parking, The boat launch was just one road over and very convenient for launching and recovery of our boats. The house was beautiful, very clean and spacious. The views were awesome, especially the sunrise from the master bedroom balcony. Many evenings were spent outdoors grilling and relaxing on the porches. There was ample parking at the dock for both of our boats. It also had a fish cleaning table on the dock. Another great convenience was the ice machine. It saved us from driving to town every day to buy ice. The neighbors were wonderful, very helpful and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this house for your vacation to the Florida Keys. Hopefully we will be able to make time again next year. Bud and Penny Morris

Great host and home!

Erika and Dane could not have been better hosts. They were responsive to all of our questions and needs. Their home let us escape the gray and cold of Ohio and enjoy the warmth and sun of the keys! Spacious deck, comfy bed and open floor plan were perfect.

Beautiful home, great views!!

This property is fantastic! We had a wonderful stay here. The house is beautiful, comfortable and very clean! The master suite is gorgeous and spacious, just as the pictures show. The layout of the house is great with large kitchen and living area and ample storage space throughout. There is a beautiful view out of every window. We enjoyed s’mores on the gas patio table, enjoyed sitting in the swings and most of all lounging on the porch chairs in the perfect weather. The neighborhood was great for walks! The neighbors were very friendly. The house had everything we needed, was well stocked with all the general items to make a stay comfortable (could have used a few more kitchen plates but even that was fine!). We had no issues with communications with the owners, they were quick to respond and so gracious. The corner lot was spacious and provided beautiful views on three sides of the house! A tropical paradise!
