âAbsolutely amazing the best stuff around and certainly the best place to stay at while travelling around the whole south east of England. Nothing is ever a problem always comfortable always clean and the staff is so friendly highly recommended.â

âLiked that it had EV charging. Very peaceful and owners were very welcoming and friendly. Delicious scrambled eggs in the morning made by Cliff using eggs from their chickens. comfortable bed and great shower. Very clean with nice touches such as shampoo/conditioner and shower gel and chocolate wafers with the tea/coffee making facilities. excellant value

âLovely place to stay, just outside of Sudbury town centre. Room was cosy, bed lovely and comfortable with a great shower. Owners were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were great and tasty. It's not walking distance to any evening food options, so you will need a car if staying there, but Sudbury is only 10 minutes away. â
âWe had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...

âStaff are very friendly, food is very good and reasonably priced. The building is lovely and full of character, however the rooms are simply decorated. The location is excellent. Unfortunately, there were no parking spaces when we arrived in the afternoon so we had to park down the street, but parking is free in Long Melford so this wasn't a problem. â

"LÀget mitt i Colchester Àr bekvÀmt, det Àr nÀra till allt. Men det ligger ocksÄ precis dÀr det Àr som mest livat pÄ kvÀllarna, framförallt i veckosluten, och dÄ Àr det mins sagt högljutt utanför. Det var högsommarvÀrme under vÄr vistelse, och eftersom det inte fanns nÄgon ventilation alls var det otroligt varmt i rummet. Det fanns en bordsflÀkt, men vi var tvungna att ha minst ett fönster öppet för att fÄ in friskluft, vilket gjorde att allt partyljud utifrÄn hördes mycket vÀl och gjorde det svÄrt att somna. Det var discodunk och högljudda mÀnniskor flera timmar efter midnatt. Vi rekommenderar andra hotell med mer skyddat lÀge."
