Jeanette thought of everything: snacks, coffee, tea, a bottle of wine, a fridge with drinks, a microwave and a Keurig… a patio to myself with chairs at waterside to drink my morning coffee…. a kayak… She even took me for a ride on her boat and brought me a chicken dinner one night. Jeanette checked in with me on a regular basis….

This is one of those rare places where everything is exactly as promised—and even better. The room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed and beautiful views. We especially enjoyed the hot tub tucked under the stairs, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. The highlight of our stay was the host—always respectful of our privacy, yet clearly nearby and readily available whenever we needed assistance or had questions. This is a highly recommended and reasonably priced property, and we would absolutely love to return in the future.

Jeanette and Dennis are fantastic hosts! We had the best time and exactly what we needed to have a relaxing weekend. Everything was exactly how we imagined it would be. The room was so comfortable and the set up so cozy. We spent most of our time down at the best house and docks, so many fish caught!! Jeanette and Dennis are so wonderful and the communication with them was top notch. We definitely will be a returning! Thank you for sharing your space with us!!

Every aspect of this experience was superior! The property is beautiful and owners have provided all amenities - plus some! There was even a bottle of wine awaiting us. The area is quiet and beautiful; the living space is charming and thoughtfully appointed. The owners were welcoming and flexible — more than generous. We loved staying here and would return in a heartbeat!

Very hospitable owners who truly made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They genuinely loved getting to know us, taking the time to chat and make meaningful connections that made our stay even more special. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing and peaceful—exactly what we needed to unwind and enjoy every moment. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and they consistently went above and beyond in every category, making sure we were comfortable, happy, and had everything we could possibly need. It wasn’t just a place to stay—it felt like a place we belonged, and we left with not only great memories but also new friendships. We can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Lakefront private suite! The pictures do not do it justice, it is more beautiful in person. The hosts are very friendly and made us feel right at home. They really did go above and beyond. Checking in and checking out was fast and simple. There was so many goodies waiting for us on check in. There is a boat launch right down the street which was an added bonus. The boat house was amazing and had enough room to dock our boat. We had so much fun fishing and catching fishing. We loved our stay we are planning on returning real soon

Cozy setting on the lake

Very comfortable room comparable to a nice hotel room. It had many nice amenities, unfortunately our stay was to visit family who live near Lake Gaston so we didn’t have a to take advantage of all the offered amenities. We would definitely stay there again when in the area!
