Absolutely outstanding in my opinion. I was on a business trip as essential worker and was met by a professional team and they were very friendly and welcoming.

On first glance hotel was lovely however Air conditioning didn't work properly and room was baking hot both nights. Staff on reception disinterested. No instructions in room for TV and took forever to get it to pair with phone. On the whole not impressed and wouldn't go back

Stop being pretentious and serve pints in the bar and not damned “schooners”. I don’t want a “schooner” I want a pint. Why management dictates this I have no idea. I would have stayed here many more times over the past years because of this. Otherwise excellent. Great breakfast nice room, good location. Would have been 5 stars but for this bit of management dictated nonsense.

The hotel is quite nice, and rooms are ok. I’ve never stayed in a Malmaison before, but to be honest I expected it to be a bit more luxurious than it was. It’s clean, and generally nice, but although the decor is stylish, it lacks the attention to detail of higher end hotels e.g. there’s no water in the rooms, there’s no minibar (you can get drinks from vending machine in the lobby), they don’t have any body lotion in the rooms, when I tried to call reception (about a problem with the room not about the lack of body lotion!) it just rang and rang and no one answered, there was no room service menu, just a piece of paper with a QR code link for the menu, which didn’t work, so in the end I just popped to the supermarket on the corner and grabbed a sandwich. I’m going to be honest that I also got the explicit feeling from the reception team that they were treating me as a ‘cheap’ guest because I booked through Expedia. Sure, I got a good deal, but when I booked there were plenty of other hotels for the same price, and next time I’ll try one of the others. Summary, it’s stylish, clean, and reasonably handy for the conference centre/ACC (although there are other that are a lot closer) - so if you booked before reading, don’t despair it’s totally fine. If you’re reading this before booking, I would probably choose somewhere else next time.

Nothing really unique. It was a typical city centre hotel. Air conditioning and no fresh air or openable windows. The food was too expensive so can't rate it as didn’t try it. The bed was comfortable and the ensuite had both a lovely bath and a walk in shower so the facilities were comfortable. The decor is pretty gloomy with lots of black and grey

Great location bar area and reception. Shame no Guinness in bar - which seemed strange as you must have quite a few Irish stay. Rooms furniture holding safe looked distressed - no complementary bottle of water which was not in keeping with other 4/5 star hotels

Nice hotel. Shame about the water view, it was more a view the car park with a slight view of the water. The downstairs bar has lovely atmosphere but it was very busy due to a wedding party. Decor in the downstairs area is beautiful and looks very classy. I was a little disappointed with the upgrade as the bed ended up being a double instead of a king size, which seems odd for an upgraded room.

Easy 20 minute walk to shopping and dining at Royal Albert Dock. Restaurant in hotel is good for dinner. No breakfast available and that would be nice. Hotel bar is quaint and bright with great service. The restaurant is nice but the server was not the greatest. Didn’t understand what a gin and tonic with lime was. Otherwise great place!

we stayed here for one night , the hotel was even nicer than we expected on arrival and the lady on reception thar checked us in and out was so lovely. Room was spacious and clean, modern and all round well presented.

Incredible hotel, highly recommend
Amazing stay, this will be my go to whenever I visit Liverpool. Lovely large comfortable room, breakfast was incredible and the service was outstanding!! Great location in the docks too close to the centre.

Didn't appreciate the fire alarm going off twice apparently the system is joined to apartments on the top floor which seems according to staff to regularly happen
