“I stayed with my mother and sister. We unanimously voted that our stay was wonderful. The service really set the tone to begin our stay. She greeted me with a smile and walked me over to the apartment. She explained everything. We were even offered dinner eventhough dinner service had finished - we checked in very late. They even kept the kitchen open longer for my mother who couldn't make it in time. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable, easy to move around and not to forget...

“A few leaflets about the area would have been good. We found the library on the day it was closed which may have helped. Another toilet upstairs in the house would have been useful, but generally the house was very comfortable .was”

“Really beautiful property with a great cosy feel to it. The fireplace was great at keeping the house warm and toasty. Kitchen is well stocked and the sound of the stream near by was lovely! The road going up to the property is a bit challenging so something to be mindful of with your vehicle. Very remote but a small village is a 15 minute drive away. The listing says there is a hot tub but they are just regular bath tubs - still great and relaxing! Just no jet element to them.”

“Helen & Matt are first class hosts and The Mill offers a peaceful, relaxed break in beautiful surroundings. As many others have said, breakfast is of hotel quality and freshly cooked to order. For our evening meals we took an easy 11 mile drive to Llandeilo where there were several options. Visiting National Botanic Gardens was easy (once we used a map and ignored SatNag!) and that's an excellent day trip. We rarely visit the same place twice, however, we wouldn't hesitate to return to The Mill...
