âLovely Hotel and nice food. Sadly didn't manage to sit out in the beer garden as so many wasps but no fault of the Hotel. Room was very nice, just the creaky floor boards but hey, that's just character. â
âSuper hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected. â
âMy wife and I stayed here for two nights over a weekend. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lasy looking after breakfast. The room was lovely and clean and well furnished. The grounds around the hotel are amazing and so well maintained.â

âI arrived from London on the motorcycle and had a warm welcome with a lovely comfortable bed and a very good bathroom with a top class shower. Sadly I arrived too late for their delicious menu as the kitchen closes early on Sunday. But I will be back very soon as I have moved near Chester and Bala is only miles away. Highly recommended. âWonderful stay at Pale Hall Hotel. Beautiful and comfortable room. Warm and welcoming staff. Excellent dining options - a tasting menu / fine dining or a bar menu. Both served in a beautiful dining room. We had the bar menu and it was wonderfully cooked.
Morning breakfast was perfect and a small gift of water and cookies for our journey much appreciated. We would highly recommend this hotel. â

âReally nice typical British pub/inn, definitely on the posh side. Checking in was easy and smooth, the staff was super friendly and also booked us a table in the restaurant. Room was clean and comfy, had everything you need. The restaurant was good, typical British food and good service.â

As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog.
