“It was a great place to stay, its something new and different, when i stayed me and wife were the only 2 people checked in, we meet the owner of the property got a tour around the place, the garden area needs a little TLC on the path ways but we didnt mine this it was nice, the owner is extremely happy nice lady she was upbeat and chatting each time she saw us made sure we were okay and check if we needed anything.

“Old-fashioned but very nice place to stay. I asked for a quiet room and they gave me a room towards the street.....as the hotel wasn't very busy i would've thought I'd be given a room towards the back.

“First time, but was immediately impressed by the friendly staff who were very accommodating. Appeared to be a young team who worked well together. Food was fabulous, we enjoyed the fresh fishcakes and amazing burger. Breakfast was equally excellent, good traditional fayre. Pub side was more traditional, well enjoyed by locals and those from further afield. Room was lovely, modern, clean and comfortable. An amazing value for money package, would definitely stay here again.

“Interesting rambling hotel built into the hillside, resulting in multiple steps up to the bedrooms. Excellent restaurant and friendly and helpful staff.
Minor niggles on the plumbing & shower: the cold pipe appear to be bundled with the hot and produces tepid water unless run for a long time - not ideal in a heatwave. The soap dispensers are about head level that make them awkward to operate. A lower location would be better. No basket or shelf in the shower for flannel or own soap or shampoo.”
