“Hotellet och dess personal gjorde allt för att vi skulle trivas. God mat och perfekt service. Utflykten med båt i nationalparken var mycket spännande och intressant. Vi såg mycket djur och fåglar. Tortuga lodge and gardens är väl värda ett besök.”

“Fint hotel i vacker omgivning. Vid middag anordnades grodvandring i direkt anslutning till matsalen, på morgonen tillf frukost hade man hängt upp bananer i träden och dessa var fyllda av fåglar mycket vackert i denna vackra omgivning.”

Tout est un savoureux mélange donnant une experience très agréable notamment grâce à un environnement propice à la rencontre avec la faune locale. Seul bémol la personne à l'accueil et au service du repas du soir qui ne nous paraît pas adaptée pour ce métier. Pour autant, cela n'a pas entaché notre sejour.”

“Everything was ok except not so nice breakfast. There was egg, coffee and fruits but not so much more that we want for breakfast. Youghurt but only with a lot of sugar in. Croissant but with sugar. Just toast (white bread) and marmelade. Why not fresh bread from a bakery and real cheese, ham, salmon etc? Natural youghurt without sugar?Serials without sugar? ”

“Dépaysement total dans ce beau lodge..jardin magnifique..petit dejeuner correct et le dîner se passe un peu dans la pénombre ce qui donne une certaine atmosphère..piscine un peu fraîche mais vu la chaleur c'est agréable..personnel à l'écoute très sympathique ainsi que le manager !je recommande vivement ”

“We choose between Tortuguero and Maquenque, and having been to lodges in Tortuguero before we choose the latter. Very satisfied, thought it was a completely different experience from the very touristy Tortuguero. The drive up is an adventure itself, bumping through a lovely rural part of the country that don't see much tourism. Excellent tours and guides on offer and all the personell at the lodge put an emphasis on making sure everyone has a good time. Food is top class and lodges very...
