“Excellent youth hostel ”

“Yes, parking was excellent. Our room had a kettle and a microwave but we did not use this as went out to eat The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. ”

“Great location, nice clean rooms and very comfy large bed, I would say just the bathroom probably needs a renovate , it was quite dated and old compared to rest of room! ”

“Elizabeth sent me an email before I was checking in making sure i was aware that there would be no one present on site. Keys were left exactly where she said they would be and instructions for breakfast and everything else were easy to understand and locate. The Crossing is suitably located right next to the Kingussie railroad station and is close to the Barracks - one of the sites to see while we were there. Would highly recommend this place.”

“Vi använde hotellet som en ren övernattning och gjorde inga utflykter/aktiviteter i samband med vistelsen i Aviemore. Blev lite förvånad när det visade sig att hotellet bestod av flera hotell och att vi inte skulle bo i "huvudhotellet". Alla hotellen ligger dock i samma område så det var bara 300 meter till vårt hotell. Det är ett stordriftshotell dvs många gäster och mycket personal. Rummen var helt OK både till storlek och skick och innehöll vad man behöver utan att på något sätt vara utöver...

“Hotellet var fräscht. Rummen jätterena. Hotellet ligger nära "centrum" så det tog bara några minuter att gå ned dit. Gratis parkering på hotellområdet och frukosten var bra men inget extraordinärt. Man fick använda hotellets pool och bastu som var helt okey. Kan tänka mig att åka tillbaka.”

“Hosts were very friendly and attentive, providing a great welcome and suggestions for dinner in the evening, as well as a recommendation of an activity to do the next day after we checked out. Bathroom was private for our room, though not connected to the room itself. The bathroom was very nice. Our room also had a sink in the bedroom itself. Bed was a bit soft - the mattress was not the most comfortable, but overall, no issue. We very much enjoyed our stay, and if we stay in the area again...

“easy to find close to everything. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived, with lovely little additions such as milk, wine, and biscuits. The drive was gritted which helped so much as we arrived during the heavy snow in November. Great communication from start to finish and always there if anything was needed. Would highly recommend.”

“Nödlösning som blev bra när vi hade bokat rum på ett annat hotell som lyckas dubnelbokacså när vi kom dit så hade de gett rummet till någon annan så efter par timmar letande och åkande hitta vi detta så vi kunde få sova och sånt för vi hade haft lång resdag redan.”
