The house as as expected and equipped for our stay. We appreciated little touches like the treasure hunt our kids enjoyed and the puzzles and games available. Drink tokens for local bars were offered by the hosts as well!

The house was as described and was perfect for our long weekend stay. We loved the artwork and the unique setting. Communication from the host was very timely and helpful. It was nice having the second bathroom in the basement. The kitchen was well stocked and even had a spot for recycling (Go Green)! The refrigerator door offers fresh water and ice. Even though the listing stated that shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were not provided, there was a selection of items in the bathroom (perhaps left by prior guests). Beds were comfortable. The air conditioners in the bedrooms kept the rooms cool for sleeping. Only minor issue: the driveway is difficult, but not impossible, to turn around in and backing out of the driveway can be tricky at times. Even taking that into consideration, I would highly recommend this home and would definitely stay again.

Great way to experience Lockport and Erie Canal History

My cousin and I spent four nights in this cozy comfortable home. Everything you need is there. Nice restaurants nearby, and central Lockport is only a few minutes away. This year marks the 200th anniversary of the completion of the Erie Canal. Experience the history with a canal boat ride, cycling canal trails, and visiting museums! Host is friendly, helpful, and responds rapidly to any communications :)

Nice property, clean and well kept. We love the artistic theme and the Tudor style home with original restored architectural details. We did not enjoy the lack of air conditioning in the majority of the home. It was miserable most of the day-time and early evening hours with the main floor at 84 degrees, which isn't comfortable at all.
