Gå bort från allt och njut av frukterna i natursköna centrala New York! Så mycket att göra i hjärtat av Finger Lakes Region från Waterloo Outlets till Watkins Glen! Kör till vingårdar, bryggerier, restauranger, det nya Del Lago Casino och shopping. Gå till Lodi State Park och ta med din båt till den offentliga båtlanseringen gratis på vardagar. Ta kanot eller kajaker för en tur på sjön.

Hela huset har nyligen renoverats! Stor privat uppfart (gott om utrymme att parkera din båt!) leder till en enorm trädkantad trädgård; perfekt för utomhusaktiviteter. Gå upp till den öppna verandan med utsikt över den natursköna Seneca-sjön med hisnande solnedgångar. Stig in i vardagsrummet / matsalen.
Pittoreska skärmad i verandan kommer in i köket. Varje våning är en separat enhet och har två fullt utrustade kök med bänkskivor i granit, bekvämt, rymligt vardagsrum med matplats (missa inte den överdimensionerade liggande soffan!) elektrisk eldstad, och stor platt-TV med kabel tillsammans med gratis WIFI. 2 sovrum och 2 badrum på varje våning (sovrum med tillhörande badkar på varje våning). Varje sovrum på första våningen har sin egen privata entré. På övervåningen finns egna trappor som är bra för par eller familj som vill ha lite integritet. På lågsäsong fråga om att hyra hälften av huset.

Baksidan utanför, steg ner till din semi-privata stenstrand med utökad brygga, picknickbord och eldstaden (medföljer stolar!). Kolla in den otroliga natthimlen med miljarder ljusa stjärnor, detta är en upplevelse du inte vill missa!

Lodis historia
Townen Lodi skapades 1826 från en del av townen i Covert. De
Latinska forskare som efter den amerikanska revolutionen undersökte territoriet som gränsade till Seneca sjön uppkallade det Lodi efter Lodi i Italien som var en fästning med höga banker. Bluffen längs Seneca sjön varierar i höjd från tio till femtio fot. Huvudströmmen är Mill Creek som inkluderar den 150 höga kaskaden som kallas Silver Thread Falls. General Sullivans soldater korsade Lodi 1779 som en del av kampanjen för att förstöra Iroquois indiska bosättningar och hjälp till briterna under den amerikanska revolutionen. Den första vita bosättaren i Lodi var Silas Halsey våren 1792. Han uppförde en stuga på Cooley's Point (Lodi Landing). Han byggde det första kvarnbruket 1794.

This house was awesome with incredible views! The home had lovely decor and the kitchen had everything we needed. Mornings and evenings on the dock were absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Our host checked in with us periodically to see if we needed anything which was very thoughtful and professional! We had an amazing stay and sure hope to go back!

This home was perfect. The lake view and sunsets were fantastic. The house was great with everything you could ask for (utensils, towels, games, etc.). We had fun kayaking on the lake and exploring the wineries/breweries in the region. Bill was very communicative and gave us several recommendations of where to visit. We would return to this location in a heartbeat.

location was fantastic, 30 sec walk to the lake, has a nice dock, firepit and chairs for evening fun. owber was very gracious and easy to work with. the house was clean and neat and newly remodeled. had all the amenities we could want. we were even provided with nice weather!

Great, a little cool, could never go swimming and it was to rough most days to fish from the kayaks. Unusual for August, but certainly not the fault of the property. The Wineries and Watkins Glen park gave us plenty to do.

Yearly family vacation

Over the span of twenty-five years, we have extensively rented properties along the east side of Seneca Lake. This year, we selected a particular cottage for our retreat, which was conveniently located near our family's cottage. The property exceeded our expectations; it provided a high level of privacy, was impeccably clean, offered ample space, and featured breathtaking lake views that are difficult to articulate. Furthermore, our host maintained excellent communication throughout our stay and provided exceptional service that surpassed our previous experiences with hosts.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was by far the best place we have stayed.

Excellent, relaxing stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lodi Lake house. Everyone in our group of 7 commented how relaxing the house and property was. Being right on the lake, with a dock was great. The host (Bill) was attentive to us and easy to get in touch with. We especially enjoyed the bird watching at the property. All kind of birds through our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Annual October Girls Trip

This house is literally amazing. Essentially, each bedroom has its own bathroom. The big kitchen downstairs became an evening hang out! The views from the house are stunning and the owner is SO helpful and genuinely wants you to have the best time. We can’t wait for next year.

We had a great stay. The only thing that we did not know before we arrived was that it was two separate units but it was not a problem. We didn’t realize you had to go outside to get to the upstairs. The stairs are very steep, but we did not have any issues.

“Gruppi dei sei” at Lake Seneca

We were a party of six friends that have been traveling together since 2008. We have been to wineries in Napa, Willamette Valley, Temecula, Asheville, and Stanardsville, VA. We have almost always booked through Vrbo and have never had a problem or disappointment with any house we have booked. Lodi Lake House was no exception. Bill Snook, contacted me shortly after I booked house. He provided me with a list of wineries in the area along with places to eat and places of interest. Links were provided for each item on the list. Bill was available to answer any questions that I might have. Shortly after we arrived at the property, Bill contacted me to make sure that everything was ok. There was booked on the kitchen island listed emergency phone numbers, rules for the house and other important information. The house was clean, the kitchen was supplied innumerable pots and pan, two coffee makers and plenty of dishes and silverware. The refrigerator was large and had a welcoming bottle of wine waiting for us. The living room was comfortable and has a large screen TV. The house’s location was quiet and convenient to wineries, breweries and restaurants. The view from the front porch was soothing. We spent time there with our morning coffee and evening glasses of wine. The bedrooms are large and have ample space for clothes. The house wasn’t perfect, but no deal breakers!
