Bad choice of places to stay
Upon arriving and going to the room at about 3:30 PM we found that the room was not heated and the windows were open - it was about 50 degrees outside. We closed the windows and turned on the heat. The room did not warm to a comfortable temperature (70) until after 10:00 PM. The closest restaurant is a 25 minute drive over very difficult roads. The continental breakfast was minimal, at best. Motel 6 does a better one.

As our seasons turn in the mountains temperatures can swing from highs to lows very rapidly, we will strive to manage the windows betters. Our free continental breakfast always includes waffles, cereal, granola bars, fruit, coffee, tea, and milk. We are so sorry to hear that this did not meet your expectations.

If you need a clean place to sleep this what this place is good for. Be aware, there is no air conditioning in the room, which was fine, except we opened the window to get some air, the screen was completely bent. Not just a little bent, like someone ripped it out of the window and bent in one whole side, so all the bugs in Logan Canyon were in our room by the morning. The staff wasn't very friendly. There was one girl that was mostly pleasant. We wanted to build a fire in the firepit, so I went in search of a staff member to ask for a lighter. Nobody was in the office per usual and finally an older gentleman said me, made eye contact with me and blatantly ignored me. My boyfriend went in search of a staff member maybe 30 minutes later and found the same gentleman. He asked for a lighter and the guy flat out said, that's on you. I'll look but I doubt we have anything for you, that's your responsibility. We rented a UTV for a couple hours. The 16 year old kid gave us incredibly confusing directions on where the trailhead was. We wasted an hour of time trying to find the right place and it wasn't until a very nice gentleman that was hauling their horses back to the barn saw us and stopped and gave us better directions. Brought the vehicle back and was told the night managers would be there to do the check in for the vehicle and nobody was around. We hunted for a manager or a staff member for over a half an hour but found absolutely no one.

Beautiful place - no air conditioning
I didn't realize they didn't have air conditioning. I stayed with my daughter and just didn't feel comfortable leaving the window open all night. They had a small fan but it only helped one of us. Didn't get much sleep but it was a beautiful place.

Absolutely gorgeous, just stay here!
This was the best place I've stayed in ages!!! It's GORGEOUS! The owls were hooting right out our window at the night. The stars were amazing, too! I can't get over this location! The staff were all so nice, friendly and genuine. It was very clean, and my kid loved the huge bathtub, haha! We cannot wait to visit again!

convenient location in proximity to Bear Lake, the hotel had what we needed, a clean, quiet place to stay not too far from the lake, and breakfast in the morning.

Great staff, lovely view, clean and comfortable room. Peaceful location away from the Garden City crowds yet very accessible. More clarification regarding breakfast would be welcome, and breakfast should be served until 9 rather than 8:30.

I enjoyed my mountain stay. The staff are very helpful, accommodating, and kind. The room is spacious and has a deep soaking tub. There is plenty of free parking and the internet works great. Horseback riding tours can be booked right from the front desk. The only cons was that the property only uses stairs so be wary if you have a lot of luggage with you. Also the breakfast is only for one hour so plan accordingly. I have seen quite a few individuals not knowing about the short breakfast window and end missing it. Perhaps it would be better to extend the hours a little. Other than that all went well.

Upon entering our room the cleanliness really impressed me. The bathroom was also impressive with the deep soaker tub. The lodge is the only one in the area so it was nice to have a private quiet setting in the mountains. The staff was very welcoming. The only problem we had was the the Tv didn’t work and the manager couldn’t get a signal. It is only 11 miles to Garden City. We hope to stay there again.

This place is such a cute gem in the forest between Logan and Garden City. It was perfect for our trip up to Bear Lake. The place is very clean, up to date, and the manager was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The grounds were well kept and the views were amazing. We will definitely be back for a longer trip next time. We highly recommend!

The property is a beautiful lodge 11 miles into the mountains away from gas or food. It’s great for a retreat but for us, it was inconvenient. It was noisy. We were on the first floor and the metal porches are quite noisy from people walking on the 2nd floor. Windows had to be open because of no a/c and there was a retreat going on - young men standing outside our room playing frisbee. They were very polite and apologetic when we came out of our room even though we didn’t say anything. The staff was VERY helpful and the maids were so sweet and friendly. Breakfast was meh. Very weak warm coffee.

No a/c. It was 77 in our room when we tried to sleep. Slept with windows open but that only helped a little. Breakfast was just ok. No protein other than packets of oatmeal. All carbs. The room was very clean and the view was amazing, but wish that other components could match the view.

Beautiful lodge in the beautiful mountain valley of Logan Canyon. The most unexpected amenity was the shower/bath. The shower head was high and the tub was large and deep. Definitely made for tall people.

Everything was great, but my reservation was for a king bed with jetted tub and they gaves us two double beds with a regular tub.

Went for a short get away. They are always very helpful and friendly. We love staying at the lodge, the scenic land scape is amazing. You feel you are in your own cabin in the woods.

Rustic but up to date. Step out of an updated room to a huge balcony overlooking the mountain. Super comfortable beds. Large TV with satellite connection and _super_ fast Internet but easy to disconnect and enjoy the remoteness. There is no AC but mid summer temps only get to the upper 70Fs and cool down in the 60s in the evening. Very comfortable. The water is super hard. Staff is wonderful.

Great rooms and place.
Great stay and room except for the fact that we had to wait about an hour to check in when the check in time was 3pm also tried to get a soda from the vending machine and it malfunctioned. The lady at the front desk offered me an additional $1.25 to try again but when it failed again she failed to give me my $1.25 back that was lost. Not much $ but it still bothered me on Principle. Bath and amenities were excellent except the lack of dinner and not being told they were not serving till I asked. They did come by and give me breakfast but almost walked into the room while we were there because I didn’t hear the faint knocking. Luckily I had bolted the door.
