The lodge was beautiful and the view was awesome. It was sad to see how things are taken care of by guest. There was not a pan in the kitchen that was useable, they were very badly scratched, dishes chipped , the air fryer was not cleaned a big beautiful kitchen , but we couldn’t do much cooking

The lodge was perfect for a multigenerational spring break getaway. We were able to use it as a comfortable headquarters for hikes and enjoyed the amenities including the pool and hot tub, grill, decks and fireplaces. This is an amazing find!

We had 13 adults or near adults, and 6 kids. Room for all. Property is well situated as a home base to explore the trails, caves, and other attractions. We enjoyed doing an escape room and pontoon rental with slide. The train from Nelsonville to Logan wasn't worth the ticket - could have skipped it. Kids were in the pool every day and often the adults too as well as the hot tub. Furniture in the living room and hot tub show signs of abuse or maybe old age and need attention. We reached out to the owner a couple of times and they were quick to respond, friendly, and made us feel welcome. Our stay was a good experience.

Property looks great and there was plenty of room. Interior needed some maintenance work and some furniture needed updating. They need to provide a mechanism for keeping the raccoons out of the garbage cans.

Overall the property was great. We enjoyed the pool and playing games on the deck. The dishwasher was discolored on the inside. Maybe from hard water deposits. The pots and pans were scratched up on the inside and the knives were dull. But otherwise, we had everything we needed. The pool was warm when we got there but was cold by the end of the 5 day stay.

The place was fantastic for our extended family weekend. Beautiful property and house, just like the pictures. The host was very responsive to any questions. Pleasant surprise that they had some firewood bundles for purchase so we did not have to go out for that.

The Laikyns Lodge was exactly as advertised—clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. It easily accommodated our group of 20 and provided a perfect setting for a relaxing, memorable time with family. The location was excellent as well, close to Hocking Hills Lodge and numerous hiking trails. We would absolutely stay here again.

The Cabin was very spacious for our large family. They absolutely loved the indoor heated pool and hot tub. The kitchen was also spacious enough for several people to be helping without running into each other!
