“Excellent in every aspect but the price. How can ordinary working families enjoy a vacation to this beautiful scenic area when it costs $400 per night These people don't have the opportunity to earn reward points to make their stay more reasonable.”

“Bathroom door gets stuck and lock doesn't work. Didn't ask for repair or help because of what I read on reviews. Breakfast not great either. Orange juice are home made and I'm 100% sure it is a Tang that transferred into tropicana bottle to make it look that way! What gives is that it was over filled and the bottle is old, "re-used".”

“The person at check-in was too busy looking at their phone to acknowledge us. We finally had to ask if we needed to call the number listed on the back of the computer for help. Then gave us a hard time about checking in early when it was already 3:00, not crowded, and rooms available. Also asked if there were places to sit outside and he said no when both floors have chairs outside to look at the sights. Also outside needs some attention with dead plants or overgrown plants. He was not...

“One hot tub, of two was working. The room, while clean, needed some updating. Window treatments were not properly working. The television was not working. Hair dryer was not working. Cleaning staff were very helpful, when asked for extra soaps, towels, and coffees. The setting is idylic and picturesque.”

“The manager was very helpful at first. Then when we found the toilet in our room running constantly and not able to be flushed, he became almost completely unhelpful. He acknowledged that he knew about the toilet but there was nothing he could do. Finally, when pressed he said there was one other room that he could give us with 2 queen beds. The room was okay but smelled very stale, musty and old. The carpets were nasty. The hot tubs outside were not hot. When we went to check out the...

“This is a great place to stay while in Ouray. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful from check in to the end of our stay.”

“Love the peaks and this is our third stay. We stayed 3 nights and had to switch rooms, the booked room smelled like wet dog. The staff accommodated. Valet did leave my car unlocked and the windows down in the parking lot, which I pointed out and was corrected. Overall we love the peaks and will be back”

“The St. Elmo is under renovation. We were upgraded to a first floor suite which was nice. However, our stay was not as pleasant as the previous year because there was no breakfast included ... not even coffee in the morning. Last year there was a marvelous breakfast, but because the hotel is under renovation, the dining area was not available. I expect that everything will be outstanding once the renovation is complete.”
