Dear Jon, many thanks for staying with us and sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear that you did not rest well during your stay due to the fire alarm. Kindly note that the fire sensors and smoke detectors are legally required to be in place in all the hotels. While we understand it may be bothering you whenever it goes on, this is in line with the safety regulations. If the alarm turns on, it means that there is a trigger and we have to investigate it. Our team is trained to take immediate action for everyone’s safety. We are required by law to keep the alarm on until our team quickly confirms there is no danger. An apology letter is present at front desk and in our lift in case this happens. Once again, we are sorry that your first parcel could not be received. As explained in the apology email sent to you, this was a human error and we kept all the other parcels that were sent for you. Kindly note that your room cards are disconnected whenever kept next to your phone. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and will do our best for you to have an excellent stay!

We receive delivery every 3 days and sometimes it happens that the provider is unable to delivery the full order, due to out of stock of items; being a small property, as you understand this might affect our food offer. However the team is working hard to reduce the inconvenience at the minimum for all our guests. We are also extremely sorry to hear that our team couldn't assist you properly and the level of our customer service was not up to the standard. This is definitely not the type of service we wish to deliver to our guests. Health and safety of our guests and staff is our priority. An engineer has been on side to check on the electricity in your room, confirming that unfortunately the issue was something unpredicted and definitely the team didn't have the competences to solve it straight away. For health and safety reasons any fire alarm activation needs to be fully checked. The whole team are fully trained in fire safety and in evacuation procedures and for this reason they needed to follow certain guidance and do necessary checks before to give the all clear. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the alarm activation, this took longer than expected. The room you reserved was the one you have been assigned and it is clearly specified online the location of some of our rooms. However we managed to upgrade you as soon as we had the opportunity and a partial compensation of your stay has been issued via the agency you booked with. We totally understand your frustration but we hope to regain your faith and have the chance to welcoming you back in the next future.Warm Regards,
