If you’ve always wanted to live in a cozy cabin nestled in an enchanted forest, with your own garden, this could be your place! This private sanctuary is nestled on a serene country lot surrounded by mature trees (15 acres of forest), a pond with waterlilies, and a river running through the land. You get access to an outdoor, flagstone patio/dining area. This one-of-a-kind property is a 15 min drive to the London city limits. This rare gem offers the quiet retreat of a park-like picturesque lifestyle combined with easy access to the convenience and amenities of the city. It truly is the best of both worlds.

Our neighbors have an organic market, and an alpaca and sunflower farm, and we are a 5 min walk from a park/playground.
The Coldstream Conservation area is a short drive, or longer walk.
Favorite activities: star gazing and forest bathing.

This was a wonderful experience and should we ever require a VRBO in the London area we will definitely use this host and property.We were arriving late in the evening and as this was a rural property with no street lights our host had opened the property for us and turned on lights in the house. There were solar lights up the walkway and everything was well illuminated.We were pleasantly surprised to have freshly cut flowers both outside the cabin door and in several locations throughout the cabin. Everything we needed was provided and we were most comfortable and at home in this well appointed home.Thank you for your warmth and friendliness. We definently felt at ease and relaxed and very well taken care of throughout our week long stay atThis lovely rural property.

Betty is a wonderful host. The place is amaizing, clean and spacious, feels like home. We enjoyed the time on the porch but also playing games inside. It is a wonderful place if you want to escape from a busy life.

It was a short notice getaway for my wife and I. Betty Mae and the property were fantastic. We wanted quiet, away from high tempo and got it. Betty Mae and her husband saw I was going to set up a telescope to enjoy the night sky and jumped in to help. We slept well and couldn't get over the peace and quiet. Best way to describe the property is full of places of solitude. If you go try and find the catalpa. It's a beautiful specimen. I found the heated floor switch too late, but that's on me. Thanks for the stay Betty Mae.

Cute cabin in the woods, on a beautiful rural property co-located to the hosts home. The location is central to London and the beautiful beaches of Lake Huron.The cabin boasts a gorgeous verandah overlooking a gorgeous landscape. It is styled with an eclectic mix of unique furnishings and folk art! A FEAST for the eyes! The host added the personal touch of adding flowers from her expansive gardens!The kitchen is fully equipped. Sufficient towels! Beautiful high thread count cotton sheets!Betty-Mae is welcoming; accommodating, and gracious!We were visiting the area for an action packed weekend spent with extended family and friends!The cabin was a perfect retreat to wind down at the end of the day!We will be back!

A wonderful stay!

The cottage and grounds were beautiful - so serene, completely surrounded by gardens, trees and plenty of birds and other wildlife. It was so quiet and peaceful - best sleep of our lives! The cottage itself was the perfect size, the beds were comfortable, and everything was immaculately cared for. The proximity of the cottage to beaches, farmers markets, wineries and breweries made for an eventful weekend. We will definitely stay again! Thanks so much Betty Mae!!

The cabin was very cute and cozy. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying morning coffee. The property is beautiful and a lot to enjoy. Horse fly peak is early July so they were annoying but we had bug spray and didn’t ruin the beauty of the property. The beds were comfortable and we slept well at night. The cabin was very clean and easy to locate what we needed.

For a post-grad reunion trip, this spot was a perfect recharge getaway - the area is easy to find, beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was spacious, but cozy, and had a great wrap-around deck to relax on. The kitchen was cute - perfect for mixing a few drinks and making food - and had plenty of spaces to eat, play games, and set up our electronics. It was easy to communicate with the host (who was super friendly, available, and helpful). Four out of four people in this stay would absolutely go back, and reccommend it to others. Thanks for everything, Betty!
