It's ok but could be more comfortable
In general pleased over the stay at Dolphin Hotel. But the room i stayed in was very small and that goes for the toilet and shower as well. I stayed in a room with single bed and the bed felt like a kids bed. It was really hard to find a comfortable temperature on the water in the shower, if going more on the cold it ice cold. I managed after 5 or 6 minutes to find a good enough temprature on the hotter side. The Wifi was rather unstable and there was a lot of time that it did disconnect. I had to check the wifi icon before surfing social media because I didn't want it to go on my mobile data. My computer had it even harder to connect to the Wifi and some days it just didn't want to connect. The curtains felt like they could be darker to not put through as much light but I do believe I slept well anyhow. If the hotel room would have been larger I would probably have spent more time in it, now I avoided it until it was time to go to bed.

Över förväntan vid Paddington!
Fick en bra start då receptionen visade sig vara mycket tillmötesgående och vänliga angående några specifika önskemål utöver hotellbeskrivningen. Rummet var som väntat på ett hotell i detta område ganska litet men för ändamålet klart tillräckligt och hade säkert några år på nacken men det kändes att städpersonalen håller allt mycket fräscht och rent. Den contintala frukosten var till full belåtenhet, och möjlighet till lagad frukost finns också vilket är ett bevis tycker jag på den servicenivå som personalen har. Läget är perfekt invid en liten park med bara ett par minuters promenad till Paddington tunnelbanestation. Som helhet måste jag säga att det är ett av de mest prisvärda hotell jag bott på i London!

Jul resa till London
Hotellet låg väldigt centralt, nära till underground, restauranger o Hyde Park. Mycket bra. Frukost rummet trångt o folk som väntade på att få bord kändes lite stressigt, hade hjälpt om dom hade haft frukosten till kl 10.

Gammalt slitet hotell
Rummet var i bra storlek med 4 sängar. Rummet hade gula väggar och omoderna tapeter. Kylskåpet var kall som en frys och förstörde mitt insulin och mjölk och läsk blev till is. Toa/dusch luktade illa av fukt och svamp hela tiden, toalettpappershållaren var lös och hängde på sniskan. Toalettstolen satt inte fast i golvet. Endast tvål inget schampoo. Lyhört från gatan och man hör muller från tåg/tunnelbanan . Frukosten bestod av rostat bröd med tillbehör och flingor. Varmt i frukostrummet och för mycket personal (5 st) i frukostrummet, onödigt spring. Hiss saknas i byggnaden. Bra att kunna låna dator och printer så man kan printa ut flygbiljetter.

Lovely surrondings, nice and helpful staff, Breakfast was ok. Very well placed right next to Paddington station about 15 minutes walk to Marble Arch (Primark). Really nice Pubs and restaurants in the block, I was very pleased.

Utmärkt läge
Hotellet ligger väldigt bra till i förhållande till Paddington station, och gillar man att gå är det inga problem att promenera till Hyde Park, Soho och Picadilly. Vad gäller hotellet i sig är det i klass med alla de andra små hotellen i området kring Paddington. Möjligen är rummen lite större.

Très bon emplacement pour l'hôtel pour visiter Londres, seul réel atout. Malheureusement l'établissement est trop petit que ce soit les chambres avec une salle de bain très étroite et un lavabo pas très pratique. Pour le petit déjeuner, il manque des places, l'endroit est très aixigu, et la qualité du petit déjeuner est à revoir, il n'y a pas assez de choix. Malgré tout cela, nous avons pu visiter Londres à moindre coût et c'est pas si mal. Merci.

Die Einrichtung des Shakespeares Hotel (eigentlich im Dolphin gebucht), ist einfach. Leider fehlte mir eine Nachttischlampe, und die Zimmertüren sind nur Schwingtüren und bleiben daher nicht auf, d. h. um ins Bad zu gehen musste ich ständig die Türe ständig auf machen, was ich umständlich fand. Dafür gab es Tee und Kaffee sowie einen Wasserkocher im Zimmer. Das Personal und auch das Frühstück waren gut. Die U Bahn stört allerdings etwas.

Great location. Nice Hotel in London style. No lift, that is heavy with laguage. All clean and easy to stay there. Breakfirst 6£ Continental. Super good. Fresh Fruits. Only minus star: not enough space in the Breakfirst room, and waiters a bit pushy in adling you, if you are ready with breakfirst.... other guests are waiting for places. But everything else perfect in the hotel.
