If it wasn't for Daniel, I would rate this visit much lower. I went against my initial thoughts on this property given some of the negative reviews pertaining to the property conditions - needs major improvement. Yes, they will hold your luggage should you arrive early, but you would have thought the decision would have been made sooner than an hour upon our noon arrival from out of the country that a room would have been requested for a room to be made available a bit sooner since the lobby did not have a lot of traffic. I do understand the 3:0'clock check-in policy, but then there is customer service. The clerk whom I will not name in hopes that they have learned from failing to properly communicate with the incoming clerk that our room was available, as he assured us he would keep us informed. We happened to go ask and was told our room was FINALLY available as we were rushing to get to a planned excursion. I was clearly not expecting the room conditions that we witnessed. Is this suppose to be a Hilton property??? We quickly learned that the sink would not drain properly, which prompted maintenance to bring in a suction vac that only made the room unbearable due to the sewage that had come up. The staff at the front desk sounded very concerned and Daniel, the manager, quickly jumped in and ensured that we were transferred to a more acceptable room and even helped us carry our luggage. His customer service skills were on point. Thanks again, Danielle!!!!
