Great hotel
The Ibis ExCel was a pleasant surprise. Very friendly staff that made our stay feel extra special. I traveled with a socially anxious child and nothing was bad in her eyes. The breakfast was standard, maybe a little expensive but you had the option to book with or without breakfast which is really what we want from a hotel. Options. It was clean and felt modern and fresh. Very easy to get to and from the city centre with the Elisabeth line that stops at Custom House only a few minutes from the hotel. If you want a quiet neighbourhood this is a good choice. Nothing happening at night.

Bekvämt och fräscht
Jättebra hotell med små, men bekväma rum. Lite hård sängar kanske. Ligger bra nära DLR med ca 30 min in till city. Också bra med möjlighet till mat dygnet runt.

Kanonläge intill Excel mässan
Kanonläge intill Excel (mässan), nästan vägg i vägg, så jackan kunde stanna på rummet. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Rent och snyggt och frukosten var till helt ok och lite till. Kan rekommendera att ta Emirates air-line istället för tunnelbanan direkt så får man en härlig tur med fantastisk utsikt. Bara några minuters promenad från hotellet.

Toaletten va väl lite spec, mtp att den stod i ett plastrum typ. Hårda sängar, flygplan som hördes.. trevlig personal! Dyr frukost! God äggröra, ok kaffe! ( godare kaffe att göra på rummet)! Nära till tunnelbanan, nära O2 arenan, coolt att ta linbanan över!! Vi va nöjda, sov 3nätter!

Mysigt Hotell i utkanten av London
Det var ett jättetrevligt hotell med god frukost! Rummet var litet men vi var bara två och skulle ändå inte spendera tiden på hotellet. Det var bra service även om personalen var överallt ibland, men det var mkt folk när vi var där. Rummet var rent men mkt var slitet och det luktade avlopp på toaletten. Bra kollektivtrafik men skulle inte rekommendera om man vill vara i Centrala London för Hotellet ligger en bra bit därifrån.

Close to Excel but noisy
Ibis is perfectly located for the Excel exhibition centre just 5 minute's walk. If you want somthing quiet stay somewhere else. Despite the fact that I had a room on the top floor I could hear people and music from the restaurant below even with the windows closed. It seems they have not heard of double glazing. I also heard an alarm from a neighbouring room. It was great weather when I stayed so people were outside until well after midnight. It might be ok in the colder seasons. I was disappointed that there was no fridge to put drinks and food in especially as it was warm. Staff are a little odd. They pounce on guests when they come in to check if they need anything. There is no reception desk so they are wandering around all the time. Nice idea maybe but I just want to come in without having to answer a dozen questions. Good view from the room. Clean but towels were rather worn out.

Lite utanför London centrum men enkelt att åka med DLR till Tower Hill. Nära till O2 -arenan, med Emirates linbana. Enkla rum med något hårda sängar. Snabb in/utcheckning. Testade inte frukosten så kan inte bedöma den.

Helt OK
Ligger nära London City Airport som var lite störande, men annars bra läge. Nära till DLR-stationen Royal Victoria. Samt till Emirates kabin-linbana som tar dig över floden till O2-arenan. Är du inte höjdrädd så är det ett måste att prova den, kostar bara 3,5pund enkel resa.

Location was good for O2 and Excel centre. Room was okay, very basic but ok for one night. However, staff let themselves into our room after we had checked in, when my partner went to ask reception what happened we weren’t offered any explanation?…

Lovely, clean hotel. Couldn’t fault it and we would stay again. Great location to get around London as there is a DLR station just a 10 minute walk away and perfect if you need to get to the 02 just over the water. Very convenient for what we needed. The staff were polite. I would recommend this hotel.

Amazing!
Great stay! Went to drag con at Excel, and it was right next door! Super easy, the room was clean and no noise from outside or other rooms. Will definitely stay there again!

Inconvenient
We had to wait 10 minutes to be booked in due to staff issues. Once we got in we put the quiet hanger on the door due to being up very early and about an hour in I was woken up to 3 sets of very loud knocking about 30 seconds apart, later on we found out this was the staff trying to contact us. About 4 hours later we went out and our keys were disabled, the staff had disabled the keys so we could go to reception and pay an extra £6 because the original receptionist had booked us into someone elses room, which he had noted we had asked for a double bed and had two singles but did not think anything of it- however it is a bit annoying that so much inconvenience happened for the sake of £6 when it was not our issue. However the staff were very polite
