“Vi ville besöka Smokey Mountains och hittade denna golfresort i Waynesville. Spelar ej golf men antar att detta borde vara ett kanonhotell för golfare. Vi använde vårt hotell som bas för våra utflykter längs Blue Ridge Parkway och det fungerade utmärkt. Trevlig personal och bra frukost. Men glöm inte att testa Clyde's Restaurant en riktig amerikansk diner.”

“Facility is old but serious efforts have been made to update. New dropped ceilings, fairly new furnishings, new paint, quaint etc. Very clean and comfortable. I had very limited contact with staff, but that was pleasant. There was some road noise but not terrible. Spacious parking was at the room entry. Some of the room photos are misleading. Be sure to designate whether you was street front or creek side. Also be prepared for a 3% credit card charge. The most serious negative was the high step...

“I've stayed twice in a month.... it's perfect. It's an old roadside motel - but the owners have done a great job with the place. It was clean and comfortable and a nice chair outside of my door.”

“This is a Hotel from the early 20th century. It has wonderful character. It doesn't have AC but does not really need it due to being up in the mountains at about 3500 ft. a room fan and open window was more than adequate. We had small issue with a smoke detector battery getting low and the detector started chirping at 4 in the moring. They don't have over night staff so it was fixed in the morning while we were out and fixed by noon. They do have a weekend breakfast that was very good. ...

“Bokade två nätter på hotellet pga festival i staden (Maggie Valley) och rummet funkade utmärkt för detta. Fick ett rum på andra våningen där baksidan leder ut till en delad terass med utsikt mot bäcken. För en svensk känns det alltid lite konstigt med heltäckningsmatta, men rummet och badrummet var alla rena och städade som sig bör. Det var inte knäpptyst i området då motellet ligger vid vägen, och det kommer en hel del stora motorcyklar som bland parkerar vid hotellet vilket den...

“I absolutely loved this property! I didn’t want to leave!! Location was perfect. Bull frogs, birds even the light rain was relaxing. We stayed in the Mountain Laurel Yurt and it was amazing. Clean, upgraded, very luxurious! We had two elk wander in to drink from the pond and they were so beautiful! I highly recommend this property and can’t wait to return!”
