Location was good. Property was ok, but need updating. We found bugs on the floor when we entered the property. Entry is terrible, keep tracking in gravel and shells. Beach was great!!

A gem in Longboat Key
The place is cute and perfect for a lone traveler or couple. Dogs are welcome and I decided last minute not to bring my dog. Others in the building had dogs and you would never know it. I was able to work remotely, walk across the street, have lunch at the beach, swim, and be back online in an hour. What's not to love! Miss it already and hope to return next year.

Quiet Paradise
I love staying at this condo. The neighbors were very nice and quiet. Didn't have to be bothered by any younger adults partying. I wasn't bothered by any screaming kids, either. And best of all, the beautiful beach was right across the street. I loved staying here and can't wait to come down again!

Great location to access the beach and enjoy LBK
The location and unit was pictured and was very convenient. The beach access was directly across the street, the grocery store/CVS was walking distance and the internet was first rate. We were working from home during the day M-F and needed to make sure the internet was fast enough and we were not disappointed. I accidentally caused a switch to burn out and called Mark and he had someone out to fix it same day. I appreciated his quick response. We would come back in the future.

Stay at Longboat Key
We had a wonderful time. The unit was a nice size for two people. We could prepare meals when wanting to eat in. The beach was right across the street which was very nice. The road in front of the unit is very busy which was a drawback. There are many beaches and parks you can visit nearby for hiking and outdoor fun. We didn’t eat in restaurants because of the Corona Virus.

Just what you need!
This is a great spot right across from the beach - clean, comfortable, and dog friendly! This is the second time we’ve stayed at this unit on LBK, and we’ll definitely be back! Mark is great and makes himself available to you whenever you need. The place is clean, and has all the basics that you’ll need - including beach chairs, umbrellas, even towels! You can’t beat the price and location. Enjoy!!

Overall, we had a great stay. The property has all you need for a trip to the beach. It was spacious for a 1 bedroom and we enjoyed the outdoor space in the evening and while our daughter napped. The only downfall was the cleanliness of the property. There was visible sand and dirt all over the floor upon our arrival. Being across the street from the beach, we understand this is a little inevitable but the amount of dirt and sand we swept up upon arrival was pretty excessive. In addition, the edges of the floor and baseboards had visible dust and dirt. Just seems like it could use a little more attention as far as cleaning. Also, there was visible hair all over the sheets when we opened the bed. Luckily there was another set we were able to switch on. If the cleanliness were improved, we would definitely consider another visit. The property is in a great location with the beach and Publix is a block away.

Jenna, I am sorry about the cleanliness of the condo. I wish you would have informed me when you checked in. I use an agency and I would have made them come back out and clean like my welcome letter states. If you ever decide to stay again i will discount your next stay and guarantee the condo is super clean or your money back. Thanks, Mark

Great Location
Property was right across the street from the beach. My favorite part was that the property had all the beach supplies there. I didn't have to bring an umbrella or chairs. we had a wonderful time.

Great stay
Location of the property is excellent! Just a few steps across the street from an almost private beach. The apartment is well equipped for a comfortable stay, including umbrella and beach chairs. We had a wonderful stay and we highly recommend this place!!

Cute property, great location! Unfortunately, the condo cleaning crew failed to change the sheets and the property had contractors changing doors & windows on the property. Mark was quick to respond to my texts and was kind enough to adjust our stay at the residence. It wasn’t exactly the peaceful vacation I was hoping for but his excellent customer service gave me hope that our next stay would be better! Although the issues we had were well outside of Mark’s control, he apologized for the disruption and was very accommodating. A great host, indeed!

Perfect little condo for a week at the beach. Everything we needed was here .... and it is literally steps from the beach. Mark was always super responsive and helpful. This was our first experience with VRBO and it couldn't have gone any better!

This property was great for long days on the beach! Everything we needed was provided including a ton of beach gear :-). Very clean and well kept. Close to a ton of fantastic restaurants!

Nice longboat key condo for two
Location for the beach was great (literally a 1 minute walk across the street), which was important to us. It's not close enough to any restaurants to really walk to them, but that did not bother us. The property is not a very big, but was perfect for two of us and would work if you had small kids since the couch in the living room also makes into a bed. The main bed was very comfortable and we had no trouble sleeping (and I don't usually do well on anything but my own bed). The floors could have been cleaner (they weren't bad, but the cleaner needs to pull out the furniture and get underneath from time to time. Mark was very responsive and informative to all of the questions we had during our stay. One more note is that longboat key and other beaches in the area are not dog friendly. We live on the East coast of Florida and there are plenty of beaches on which dogs are welcome here. Having said that, there are some public parks (and a new dog park) that dogs are allowed into. This did not affect us too much, but be aware. Overall we enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed a little longer.

Beautiful beach, beautiful area
We arrived with all instructions in hand and we were an hour early which was no big deal we were able to check in. The condo is very cute and functional for 4 people. The only complaint we have is it could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the area is beautiful.

Best Vacation Ever!
My husband and our two four legged pets absolutely enjoyed our stay. The condo was comfortable, clean and very conveniently located to the beach and other activities in and around Longboat Key. Our wonderful host, Mark was key in making our stay comfortable and safe. He worked with us when we needed to defer our original vacation due to personal reasons and went over and above to accommodate with another date selection. The condo was fully equipped and we only needed to purchase food and suntan lotion. The beach was breath taking and we could not have asked for finer accommodations. We plan to return in the near future and would highly recommend Mark and his lovely home to other would be renters. Thank you again Mark, for giving us the Best Vacation Ever!! Pet Friendly Condo Close to Shopping, Longboat Key & Beach
Terrific pet-friendly condo on Longboat Key, there is a shopping plaza with a Publix, CVS, etc. within easy walking distance. The beach is directly across the street. The condo has a full kitchen, comfortable beds, and a great porch. Highly recommend if you'd like a laid-back, quiet place to get away from it all. The owner is friendly and helpful with instructions and will resolve any issues as needed. Highly recommend!!

It felt clean and well maintained.
The property was great for the price. There is not much space but it worked for us. Unfortunately, red tide rolled in and ruined the beaches, so we had to explore inland and didn’t get to enjoy the water.

Comfortable stay during Red Tide
We had a great time during our stay at Longboat Key. Unfortunately, the Red Tide was present on the island, however we'd drive north to visit the beach. The condo itself was simple, nice, and had everything you would need. There were a lot of RolyPoly Bugs in the condo, which aren't dangerous, just annoying. Very close to the beach and a Publix which was very convenient. Overall, great spot and would stay again.

This was an awesome vacation. The location was perfect and a easy walk to the beach where we flew kites and relaxed. We found a cute botanical garden close by that we walked our dog to. This unit had everything we needed to have a great comfortable vacation. We will be back!

Place nicely decorated! clean! comfortable! Needs a 'bucket' to go with the shovel in the beach equipment shed! Chairs & umbrella worked great not cumbersome to carry across the street to the beach! Shower outside the condo's really helped keep the sand outside! My grand-girls & I loved out time there. Mark was very helpful and professional!

Clean with crisp linens, quiet pristine location of beach
The unit was clean and tidy with crisp linens. That statement sums up what is most important to me when renting. The small, older unit has pleasant fresh paint and cheerful furnishings. I'd be happy to stay again. Hint, use the hoses at each end of the building to rinse off your sandy beach feet/stuff. It really helps!

Excellent location, across street from beach
We spent a week in early April at this location prior to going on a cruise. It's in a great location, across the street from the beach, on Long Boat Key. Just a few miles north of shopping and restaurants at St. Armand's circle, and a few miles south of Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria. It offers a quieter setting , yet close enough to the action if that's your thing. The first floor, single bedroom condo was clean and adequate for two. It was decorated in a beach motif. The kitchen was very functional. It even had a newer Kuerig coffee maker. Nice beach chairs were provided to take to the beaches. It has a nice patio to watch the passers-by, but could use new patio furniture. It has a screened in Lanai for times when it's raining. The bed was comfortable but could have been a bit larger as we have a king bed at home. A large LED TV and cable is available as well as Wifi. In our opinion its a nice place, great location for a short stay.
