Perfect Getaway
The house was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. We loved how the doors opened up to bring the outside right into the house. However, the best part was watching the sunrise from the deck. It was absolutely stunning; well worth waking up early to watch. Be sure to bring a camera. You will definitely want to capture that. The entire process from booking to checkout was simply and we had no issues with the house. All in all, it truly was the perfect getaway.

Beautiful and relaxing getaway
Beautiful home with amazing views. Sam was very easy to reach. We had an Issue with the bbq pit. He came and looked at it and replaced it the same day. Kitchen had everything we needed. We did our running around during the day so we could get back to enjoy the huge deck and amazing views. This was one of our favorite VrBO’s yet.

Incredible Views

Great view and location!
Listing was spot on to full experience and view! We had a mix of rain, fog, and sun during our visit which was so cool to see from lookout mountain! Definitely easy access to all attractions nearby.

The house and views are spectacular
We often rent from VBRO and this house and the owner or in my top picks The house was spacious and very well stocked. The scene from the deck never gets old. Traveling 5 - 30 minutes gets you to more locations with plenty of things to do and many wonderful restaurants. I recommend this property and would love to return one day

IRONMAN RACE IN CHATTANOOGA
We went with another couple for the recent Ironman race. This property is amazing! It is truth in advertising. The decks are gorgeous with amazing views. Not only was it even better than advertised, the kitchen was very well supplied. Rented so many recently that didn't have coffee. Extremely clean and well cared for. The rental was easy, communication was excellent. On of us even managed to show up for the race missing a shoe. We reached out to the owner on a Friday nice and he gave us great info to find running shoes in plenty of time.

Beautiful house with even more beautiful view
We absolutely loved this place. We planned a last minute getaway for my husbands birthday with just us and our 1yo son. The house was clean, wonderfully decorated and had many amenities. Everywhere in the living room/kitchen has a stunning view of the valley. The master bedroom has the best view of them all- being able to watch the sunrise from bed is best! We loved the location- it was quiet but close to everything including rock city, ruby falls and Chattanooga. We are already planning our trip back!

Breathtaking property
We loved our stay! What a sweet spot for a get away. The home is nicely appointed and we appreciated special touches including the offering of a variety of coffees and even soap and shampoo — those little things go a long way! But the real stunner here is the GORGEOUS VIEWS from back of this home. The master bedroom is one of the prettiest rooms we’ve ever slept in—just breathtaking—night and day. Secluded Feel, Stunning Views
It's absolutely breathtaking when you first walk in the door. The views from every part of the house are stunning, but the deck is truly the best. We did have a problem "unpairing" the TV so we could hear it, but we weren't really there to watch TV. The outdoor fireplace was lovely, but we could never get it turned on. There is a music room with a turntable and albums from my era that I was stoked to get to listen to, but unfortunately, the equipment wasn't working properly. I'm sure had we asked for help with those things, they would have answered, but we were too busy enjoying everything else to take the time. If Rock City is on your agenda, the proximity almost next door. Several of my friends seeing my posted photos wanted the link and will probably be enjoying a stay there as well. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Beautiful property with a view. Very clean. Great deck with outdoor fireplace. Perfect place to watch sunrise. Master bathroom strange. No door. Shower, tub and toilet all open into bedroom. Sometimes privacy needed, even between spouses.

The property was clean, modern, and comfortable. The best part of the whole property, however, is the view! Breathtaking! We also enjoyed that the house was easy to get to and just a short drive to local restaurants and attractions.

Gorgeous Views
This property was perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking and touring. We really enjoyed mornings and evenings on the deck overlooking the mountain and listening to the birds. The home is located in a beautiful neighborhood and Sam is an excellent host who responds quickly if you have questions. I would definitely stay here again and will refer my friends if they decide to go to Chattanooga.

New Favorite Place
When you walk through the front door of this home, you immediately get a breathtaking view of the outdoors. The home is wonderfully decorated but definitely needs some updates/repairs. We were unable to open the doors that led outside from the kitchen. They didn't open easily and we didn't want to force them so we didn't bother. The rubber part on the kitchen sink sprayer was no longer there, we ate out most of the time so it wasn't a big deal. The outside table has some pieces of wood that appeared to be lifting off and the deck needs to be refinished. None of which would deter us from coming back! One thing that would be nice is access to a washing machine & dryer. Our family did a lot of hiking and would have preferred to not have to transfer muddly/dirty/sweaty clothes back home. Overall, I was very sad to leave. The neighborhood is wonderful and quaint. A few seconds from Starbucks & Rock City. Wonderful cafe less than 10 min from the house on the mountain. Our stay was more than what we could have expected, if only it was longer. Transplanted from Maryland to Florida, it was nice to finally see lightning bugs again :) I will forever remember our short stay at this home. Thank you Sam for sharing.

Amazing house and best view ever!
When my husband and I walked into Sam’s house, we were absolutely stunned with the beauty of the view over the valley and all the artistic details in this home. We loved returning after sightseeing in Chattanoooga to drink in the surrounding beauty of nature from the lush trees to the two hummingbirds who visited the deck feeder every day. Our souls and bodies were refreshed by our stay here. Every detail of renting and accessing the house was seamless. We can’t wait to return!

Great location. Beautiful View. And property was very nice. we would definitely stay there again. Only suggestions would be to give the guests access to the washer and dryer and it is time to replace the backyard deck. But those are minor issues. The bed is super comfortable and everything we needed was available. Overall it's an outstanding property.

Great designer house for small group. Incredible view from enormous deck. Well equipped, even had a decorated Christmas tree for a classy touch. Short ride up mountain from city river area for dining & entertainment (you'll quickly get used to the twists of Hwy 58). Very comfortable, wish we could have stayed longer.

First Class House With Amazing Views
The house and view lived up to expectations! There were plenty of towels, extra blankets, and even a queen size air mattress. The house was perfect for us (3 adults & 1 child). We cooked meals in the well stocked kitchen. The ping pong table downstairs was a nice bonus and got plenty of use during our stay. It was even decorated with wreaths on the front doors and a lovely Christmas Tree as well. The deck was my favorite spot. Gorgeous sunrises with the soothing sounds of the waterfall below made for a relaxing experience. The deck has a modern fire pit we used to make smores at night. If you are contemplating booking a stay at this property just do it already!

Beautiful Mountain Oasis
We had a great time! The house was beautiful, clean, and exactly as advertised. The drive up to the house and the check in process was a breeze. We enjoyed our nights sitting out on the balcony around a fire, looking out at the beautiful view of the mountains. My husband, 4 kids, and myself lounged and slept comfortably, for there was plenty of seating and accommodations. The location of the house was great and we were able to enjoy all the activities the mountains had to offer from hiking, Rock City, Ruby Falls, Incline Railway, and still be able to drive to downtown and check out the local town. Thank you Sam for being an excellent host.

Wonderful Retreat Setting, Home and Vista
The owner was gracious and prompt in his communications by email. No other communications were necessary, as everything was found as advertised. House rules were clear in the emails and were in a plastic folder on the coffee table when we arrived. The house is both contemporary and rustic. Floor to ceiling doors/windows line the entire backside width of the house. A large and well furnished deck provide almost a 180 degree view off a ridge on Lookout Mountain, GA to see the hot pink morning sunrises, the “smoke” of the great Smoky mountains, the stars and moon, and to hear a magnificent circadian symphony punctuated with screech owls. The house is immaculately maintained, in addition to being appropriately supplied for 6 guests. The front yard is beautifully and appropriately curated for the setting and maintained by professionals. We concluded at our last breakfast on the deck our family will be meeting again at this wondrous home, setting and vista.

The view was incredible, did not disappoint!
Hard not to relax in this lovely property. Great location, easy driving access to trails. We were under the impression that we could walk out our front door and take a trail to a waterfall, based on the description, but that was not the case. Other than that, all expectations met!

The Best Property in Chattanooga.
If you are looking for a place that literally WOW's you, you have found it with this property. On a valley view lot on Lookout Mountain, this place is a postcard. From the rustic wood finishes, to the contemporary concept design, the home has all of the features you would come to expect in a five star rated property. The one thing that differentiates it from the rest is THE VIEW! Absolutely breathtaking in the morning watching the sun rise through the fog and when the fog clears, a view that goes on for miles and miles. This is a must stay if you are in or around the Chattanooga area!

Wonderful secluded place for our 10 year anniversary!
Me and my Wife recently celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary so I booked here so we could get some much needed alone time (away from the kids lol). From the amazing views to comfortable amenities, we truly enjoyed our stay! For anyone looking for some seclusion and privacy with the one you love, this is the perfect place!

We loved the property. The view was heaven!
The house is tucked away and felt very private. The open floor plan was great...lots of good family gathering time. We stayed up late each night and rose early each morning so we could spend as much time as possible on the deck. The view is incredible!
