Great spot for girls weekend
This was the perfect backdrop for a girls weekend. The Casita was very comfortable, and it was wonderful part of the resort where we had access to restaurants, fitness center, and all of the breathtaking views. Highly recommend!

Best time for all
The Cassita was spacious, comfortable, and easy walking to the amenities. We were a family of six adults and everyone had a great time. The kitchen supplies need a bit of a tweeking. There should be a service for 12 with six people rather than 6 plates, a dish rack for drying, large serving spoons, foil and saranwrap. This is minor because the cassita was very spacious and extremely comfortable for 6 adults. The third bedroom is separate and so it might not suit a family with children. The resort and spa is fabulous. We are coming back. Did not have to interact with the property owner because everything was great. Resort fees and parking fees should be disclosed upfront.

Perfect place for family gathering
I love this place. We come practically every year. The casita is always clean and is well stocked with everything you need. The view from the back is amazing and the staff is always so professional and helpful. Can't wait for our next visit. This is the best staycation ever!

Gorgeous Terranea casita
This is a beautiful 3 BR casita at Terranea, with a great location just up a flight of stairs from the main property. Each bedroom has both an ensuite and a patio, and all 3 are on the ground floor. One of the bedrooms is a lock-off, so it requires going through the outdoor courtyard to reach the shared rooms. The kitchen has everything necessary to cook if you are so inclined, although Terranea has several wonderful restaurants as well as room service. Terranea itself is spectacular, and VRBO guests have full privileges at the property. In fact, as casita residents we found that we were treated like VIPs. The VRBO host had excellent and prompt communication, as did a Terranea concierge who reached out to me before our stay. We had a fanatastic family reunion at this property and would love to return!

Beautiful location great host
We had a wonderful time staying at this property with the family. The place was clean open bright and airy and had everything we needed to be able to cook meals in addition to enjoying the properties amenities. Advice would be to plan your reservations in advance as the restaurants are very popular. They were very accommodating though. Kathy was on top of everything and helped ensure we knew exactly what to do and gave hints for the area. Overall great trip would come back!

A perfect weekend
My wife and I simply fell in love with this property and the Casita. The detail we received at the time of the booking was extremely helpful and appreciated. If it’s available, book it before it’s gone. You will not be disappointed. The staff was excellent, the food choices were perfect for us and the views are amazing. We will return next time we visit SoCal.

Run down and in need of maintenance
This is our 5th stay at Terranea and the second time in this exact casita. The casita was in need of updating and maintenance. The carpet in the main bedroom is ragged and dirty which was unpleasant but not the worst issue with the casita. The bed literally was broken. The wooden support was poorly built and cracked and broke as soon as we sat down. It took two night of miserable sleep to finally have a maintenance person fix the bed. He informed us that this had happened before and we could see evidence of a previous repair attempt. The broken bad was bad enough but having to call 5 times over two days to have it repaired was outrageous. The other issue is a foul smell in the bathroom. I’m not sure what the issue is but the bathroom smells like an open sewer. We had to keep the door open and the fan running to keep from gagging. All and all it was bad enough that we probably try another hotel for our annual family visit to PV.

Simply fabulous
Terranea is a lovely place for all ages to enjoy the beautiful landscape and ocean of the pacific! My family and I ages 45-85 stayed together at the casita 20. Beautiful views of the ocean and lots to do or not do! It was a special time together and I can’t wait to return again.

Lovely place, exactly as advertised.
Having stayed at Terranea previously, there were little surprises. This is a top notch experience you won't regret. Excellent for groups or large families. NOTE: one unit is not actually totally part of the over all villa. It is connected by a shared outdoor living space. Just FYI. But in many ways this made it even better!!

Incredible location
We stayed at this house on the Terranea resort for my 40th birthday we had four women staying in the home and it was more than plenty room for all of us. The casita is in a nice, private and quiet location yet still close to everything. The multiple pools, use of the spa, and the restaurants on property were all extremely convenient. We had such a wonderful time here in the home was gorgeous and super clean. Kathy was a great host and communicated quickly when necessary. I hope to stay here again soon!

Beautiful Casita
The Casita was perfect for our family of six. It is not located on the ocean side of the resort, but is very spacious and still offered beautiful views and a short walk to the lobby area. The owner was helpful and responded quickly to any questions that we had. Be sure to travel when the temperature is warmer so that you can fully enjoy all of the outside amenities. It was very chilly [to us - we're from the south] during most of the stay, and we were not quite prepared for the cool temperatures forcing us inside more than we wanted to be. The resort charged a $250 daily incidental fee - be prepared for that as well. We were there five days so this was a significant amount held on our credit card that we were not aware of in advance. The resort only offered cleaning services after your third day. But, we were able to order cleaning supplies and groceries using instacart that were delivered within two hours. Internet connectivity was sketchy at times so be sure to have a back up hot spot.

Just what we needed

Kathy is a wonderful host and we couldn't be happy at this beautiful three-bedroom property. Terranea is just gorgeous and this felt like a home away from home. The bedrooms are so comfortable and spacious. No complaints!

Amazing property, worth the extra
I have stayed at Terranea on girls weekends and with kids. Last year we stayed at the hotel and this year splurged for the Casita upgrade. It was well worth the investment to have the extra space and kitchen area with kids. There were several areas for outdoor lounging which were used often and helpful to socialize after the kids went to bed. Gorgeous property with beautiful ocean views.

Absolutely Gorgeous!
The property is beautiful! All of the casitas were spotless and very comfortable. Each had it’s own patio that looked out to the ocean. The bedrooms have plenty of room and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are very large, clean and well stocked with most anything you need. The kitchen had upgraded appliances and everything you need to prepare and eat your meals. Everything was ready for us when we arrived and there were no problems. Kathy communicated immediately and was very helpful throughout our stay. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! We definitely will plan another stay in the future!

2nd time was a charm as well as the first
The first time I stayed in the casita was for this past Father's Day. We had a phenomenal time. The most recent trip was an annual girl's trip from college. It was perfect. You can use the hotel facilities and we took fully advantage of everything the spa had to offer. The spa has it's own pool along with lunch service and the views are breathtaking. We also hiked down to the water at high tide, which required climbing over rocks. The unit has a perfect location being close to the hotel. Any opportunity I get, I will stay here.

Beautiful Casita!
We booked this casita for a friend's wedding weekend and it was PERFECT. Very roomy and comfortable we loved the casita and the patio outside. It was so nice that the 2 extra rooms were separated from the main area and the master bedroom so that some people could go to bed early and not be kept awake by the rest of the group. We will definitely book again!

Very comfortable casita
The casita is very comfortable & great for a family of four (as we were). We rented only two bedrooms, which was perfect for us. Very relaxing, well situated on property, fairly close walk to everything (spa, main hotel & restaurants). You do have to walk to the pools or Jacuzzis, but that works out fine, nice to walk around the pretty property with views of the ocean. The manager for the property (Kathy) is very helpful, able to accommodate us for early arrival (only because there was no one in the unit the night before). She walked us thru the process very well, pleasant to talk with & responsive to emails of questions or other items. This rental includes maid service. They aren't always there real early in the morning (which was fine with us, we were late sleepers) but if you are out of the room early you may want to call housekeeping and get them to come earlier. Any complaints we had were about the hotel staff and services, not the condo (the condo owner doesn't really have control over this). We asked for certain things to be handled by maintenance and security and they were very slow and non responsive. I think, if you dial zero and ask for things, the person on the receiving end of the phone is pleasant to speak to but doesn't seem to get things accomplished and it required multiple calls to get things fixed or serviced. Again, not the fault of the owner or the property manager, just the fault of the hotel. Most hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. If you ask anyone for a ride in their cart from one location to another (from the spa or restaurant to the unit), they are very willing. One time I was tired and didn't want to walk up the hill in the rain, and asked a kitchen worker who happened to be leaving the restaurant in a cart for a ride, and she was most accommodating and friendly during the ride. So "rank and file staff" are wonderful. One of the concierges, Jon Schwartz, is always particularly helpful (we have worked with him on 2-3 visits before) and he is always friendly and accommodating. we used their Lexus shuttle to go to a movie and the young driver was great, came back for us, waiting around since our movie was late. No comments on the restaurant food from this trip, we ate most of our meals in the unit. From past experience, we haven't found the food in the restaurants to be that good, definitely not worth the price, but that may be our taste since others seem to like it.
