Nice and friendly hotel. Nothing extra included
A nice hotel which seem to be built quite recently. Very clean and not worn down at all. Very friendly staff. Nothing extra is included though, everything will be of charge which I think is kind of dull when staying at a hotel. Breakfast, parking etc. Howevery, parking was easy to do in the surrounding area, we found 72 hour spaces nearby. Just read the signs carefully and make sure you really understand them, otherwise your car might get towed :) P.S Awesome robes!

Staff is great but rooms are not
Palihotel Culver City. Its a super nice hotel if you are traveling light and maximum a weekend. The rooms are small and no space for empty bags. Valet parking is the only option in the area and its around 30 bucks. Next Time in LA we Will not be staying here Even If the staff are super nice. The rooms need an upgrade when it comes to storage and for the money that we paid we expected a bit more Sorry Pali

Nice Hotel. Good Location. Noisy.
Pros: Cool hotel in a premium location in downtown Culver. Solid restaurant for a quick bite or cocktail. Cons: My room overlooked the restaurant which was noisy. Restaurant closes at 10P, which is tolerable, but the cleaning staff starts around 3-4A. It’s evident that they make an effort to not make noise but unfortunately I was awoken by moving tables/chairs on two occasions. Plus the air conditioner rattled very loud. The room is also very small but tolerable. But this means that there is no dresser for your clothes. There is a wardrobe but only one shelf for garments. I had a short stay so this was not an issue, but longer stays you’re going to run out of room. They also did not have an iron/board in the room, which was a first for me. Guessing you can request one but by the time I discovered this I had to leave for work. No comp waters either. (What they had was close to $10 iirc.) Fortunately there is a Trader Joe’s in walking distance charging $0.60 for a bottle. So stock up before bedding down. Restaurant: I had a burger for dinner which was greasy but good. It was a happy hour special so well priced. However, I suspect their food is pre-prepped because a few of the items they had a certain quantity remaining, including the soup (which was weird). For breakfast I had oatmeal and a cappuccino. The oatmeal was very watery and the cappuccino was basic. Would I stay again?: Probably for the location, but I would bring some hearing plugs.

The loudest hotel I've ever stayed at. Complained about noise at 1:30 AM to the front desk and they didn't believe me. There was a holiday party that was so loud from 1AM - 3AM and the staff did nothing about it. The bar restrooms are right next to guest rooms. There also was a dumpster outside my room that the staff kept throwing glass in all evening. Pretty hotel, but you wont get much sleep here.

Great vibe, restaurant/bar, location, and decor. Decorators did a great job with the thoughtful remodel of the older hotel keeping its charm with great selection of lighting, colours and fit out furnishings. Rooms are small-ish but comfortable, functional and pleasing to the eye. Price point is about right. Will definitely stay again. (Don’t tell anyone else).

The hotel has character, is very clean, and is well located. The beds are comfortable, rooms are cozy, and the neighborhood offers a variety of dining options. However, there are a few drawbacks to consider. The proximity to a school can lead to noise in the mornings. Additionally, there's no parking available, so you're forced to pay for valet parking service. The breakfast food is rather dull (although there are many alternative options around the hotel, walking distance), and it's worth noting that the water in the shower only gets warm, not hot. Despite these issues, the hotel's character and cleanliness, along with its convenient location, make it a good choice for those who don't mind a bit of morning noise and are willing to use the valet parking service or are not driving.

I loved the feeling of this hotel--the restaurant felt lively and fun at night, but the rooms were quiet and cozy. It's easy to walk around Culver City, and I felt safe doing so, even after dark. The one thing that didn't seem as great as the rest was the breakfast--it was pretty meh. I'd definitely stay here again and go somewhere else for breakfast.

The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. The blinds did not block light and the room was bright night and day. The HVAC unit made a loud noise when on and didn’t properly cool the room. There is no complimentary water or coffee and the mini fridge is filled with drinks for purchase leaving no room for your bottled water. The stairwells have clutter and boxes in them.

Just a one night stay - convenient location near downtown Culver. Had a drink at the bar (which is very nice) but was surprised when they asked if we wanted another drink at 9:45, and turned the lights on/music off promptly at 9:58 PM. Totally understand if they want to get out of there - but maybe do last call a bit earlier then. Shower had a terrible sulfur smell - alerted front desk but they didn’t offer any apologies, just that they’d “make a note” Very small room- which I had read in reviews - but something to note. Would not stay again.

Booked a room for my 80 year old parents. Sliding bathroom door got stuck closed with toiletries & dentures in the bathroom. They were moved to a different room but the a/c was broken in 80° weather. Received a small desk fan. The following day, they had to purchase toothbrushes/paste & spent the day without dentures. At 3:30pm, the bathroom door was opened & they returned to the original room with the working a/c. I asked for compensation (discount) for the inconvenience of moving back & forth between rooms-one with a broken bathroom door & the other with a broken a/c. Was told they needed to speak to the manager. No response. Spent a lot of money for horrible rooms. Glad my parent didn’t get trapped in the bathroom.

Tiny tiny
Good beds and showers. But rooms are tiny, noisy ventilation. Thin walls make you hear every nous in the entire hotel. Rooms lack just general comfort details like sockets next to the bed for phone charging, no space even to put a suitcase. Although we had the deluxe room, the room was basically a bed and 3ft of space around it. You permanently stand in each others way. Bathroom was tiny too, with just one tiny sink. Overall disappointing.
