We had a great time at Elizabeth's home. We really appreciated the proximity to the beach and the Santa Monica Pier.
The apartment is well furnished and well stocked, and use of the surfboards was an extra nice plus.
A few things to know about parking:
As noted, there is street parking with a parking permit. When we arrived Friday early evening, we found a spot right away. But we went out Saturday evening, and when we came back around 9:45 p.m., there was nothing available, and traffic was horrendous. We circled a bunch and eventually found parking 45 minutes later on the main street in front of a meter, which meant getting up early to move the car, which we were able to do and found a spot in front of the house again. Same thing happened on Sunday evening. There is the beach lot parking permit, but you have to be in that lot before sunset, and are stuck in there until the next morning. (This is not a criticism, just an FYI if you're bringing a car.)
