Great location. But not like the pictures. Room right by the busy street. No sleep. Buliding site outside. No toilet brush made it kind of wierd.

Läget är bra
Detta blev perfekt för oss. Vi ville besöka pier, strand och utelivet i staden, allt är på enkelt gångavstånd. Enkelt och rent boende men lyhört, boende ovanpå hördes hela tiden. Dock, läget gör att vi kan tänka oss detta igen.

Fantastiskt läge
Det var ett litet och trevligt hotell med ett underbart läge, vid strandpromenaden nära Santa Monicas pir. Hotellet var lite slitet men med en mysig atmosfär. Sängarna var bekväma. Vi fick bra service och personalen var hjälpsam och trevlig. Åker jag tillbaka till Los Angeles så boka jag på Hotel California, hotellet med en själ.

Bekväma sängar!
Underbart litet hotell på bästa läge vid Santa Monica piren och beachen. Nära till bra shopping på 3:e gatan i Santa Monica. Nostalgi och rätt för att få känsla av att vara i surfarnas Kalifornien! Rent, enkelt men lite slitet. Väldigt sköna sängar, och trevlig personal. Skulle välja det igen!

Bra läge och fräcka rum
Mycket nöjd, var skall man inte bo om inte på Hotel Carlifornia. Fick dock betala 36 USD/dag för parkering -är ju va att det ingår, men det är väl trångt i LA

Sovit här 3 nätter i 2 olika rum. Första natten var på framsidan mot Ocean Ave vilket gav lite buller från trafiken.. De andra nätterna sov vi ett rum som var på "baksidan" vilket var mycket bättre och med en snygg liten innergård. Fantastiskt rum men med lite för mjuk säng. Men vad spelar det för roll när man skall ut o ha roligt :-) Men se till att få ett rum på baksidan.

Hotellet ligger bra och centralt. Rummen gränsar mot parkering och trafikerad gata och är väldigt bullerstörda. Dålig uppvärmning och svårt att få varmvatten i kranarna. Frukosten kan man glömma. Kaffe och muffins på stående fot.

Surfhotellet!
Anrikt och trevligt hotell! Rent och fräscht. Ingen AC på rummet, men det räcker med öppet fönster i juni när vi var där. Lite ljud från vägen på natten, men inte störande. Trevlig personal. Dåligt med parkeringsplatser, men bra P-hus finns nära. Otroligt bra läge bara 5 min från piren i Santa Monica.

Room was not what it was advertised as. Very dirty bathroom. Beds hard. Paid for parking and then was told that I needed to double park and if the other person needed to leave they would have to call me to move my vehicle. Really? Wasn't worth $300 a night.

Thank you for your feedback Andrew, we are happy we were able to offer you Early Check In as well as parking here at the hotel. When the parking lot is full and a car is blocking other cars we normally ask guests to leave the keys at the front desk and we move the car only to let other cars leave the lot. Our rooms and bathrooms are cleaned by Housekeeping before check in. Our front desk would have resolved any issues with the room if you'd simply spoken with us. Thanks again for your feedback.

This hotel didnt even have enough parking stalls for their customers.We have to pay for street overnight public parking.Customer like us should be aware about this by Xpedia or publicly informed.

Parking is very limited and by reservation only. Found out the hard way. Ocean Blvd is a noisy road all night long. Outside of those the place is charming and we felt very safe. Easy walk to the pier and beach. Staff was very helpful.

This is a great place. Just know what you're getting: a cheap hotel right by a beautiful beach, and just accept that the lower price point means there are some compromises. We stayed a week, and it really is right there by the beach. We loved it. But there were definitely bugs (we saw multiple spiders in our room and could not leave any food out for any length of time, (seriously, even an hour) or ants would find. We had to run things to the outside trash). It's also not in great shape maintenance wise in that for example, the jets on the tubs don't work, and the a/c is ancient and not in great shape. Wasn't an issue for us, but if you want privacy among roommates, keep in mind that, at least in our room, there was no door separating bed from shower/bath area, and showers were clearly visible to all in main hotel area. But it still has a charming look, the staff was nice, the location is perfect. And it's cleaned every day (I just wish they would clean sheets more often, since expecting sand to escape being in the bed after a week of beach life is improbable. They did finally change them on night 6 for us, and it was super appreciated.)

Our Housekeeping staff is available daily to change the sheets, each room has a hanger for the front door that says Do Not Disturb on one side and Maid Service Please on the other. Alternatively, please contact the front desk who will speak with Housekeeping. We apologize about any ants in the room, again our front desk would have been happy to assist if we had known. Sea Blue is like time travel to the California of the 1960s. You enter a gated walkway down to Muscle Beach, and it's as if contemporary traffic and uproar just stop. The rooms are on several levels with brightly tiled stairs and varied porches and patios. My room was comfortable and homey: mission-style carved headboard, carpenter-built shelves and clothes bar, 3-panel solid wood doors and pink and terracotta tiles in the bath, everything clean, well-maintained and functional. The decor is vintage posters. On the walkway down to the beach one can sit or lounge and enjoy the neighbors' gardens. Who would expect to watch hummingbirds feeding on lemon flowers at an LA hotel? Delightful!

A Santa Monica typical and original layout, with an outside path decorated with outside furniture, leads you the beach,. One of the best Boutique hotel I have ever stayed before, with easy access to the Santa Monica sights, re; 7 .mins walk to the Pier, 3 minutes to the beach and the famous boardwalk extending to Venice Beach, and the palissades, on the North Side. Very friendly and Attentive Staff. This boutique hotel felt like I was on the sets of famous Sitcom ' Three's Company' The only neg point here, the hotels, among others very close by hotels, is a large publick park, across Ocean Blvd, which is not the safest area to walk in, day and night. This was raised by the Staff on check in. Best 3 stars property, near all sights in Santa Monica

This property is small, quaint, and walking distance to pier and eating places. Situated on a busy street so be prepared for noise at night, especially in room 28. The room was comfortable but could use some blackout curtains and updated windows for the noise level. It had a small fridge to store food/drinks. Not a lot of parking spots so reserve prior for a fee. The staff were nice and helpful in suggesting places to eat.

Both the person I checked in with and the person I checked out with were helpful and efficient. The room was cute and clean. The location is amazing steps from the ocean. Highly recommend!

Overall we had a fantastic stay! The hotel staff were incredibly helpful. The hotel is a bit more.worn down than the photos kn the website, but it was clean and comfortable. Also,you really are just two blocks from the beach!
