Awesome place !
The host was very nice when I met her. The place was very nice, clean, quiet neighborhood and had everything I needed for this much needed getaway. The bed and pillows were very comfortable as well. Great location and many places near by for whatever you need. Can not wait to go back again !!

Good choice for enjoying LA’s South Bay
The property was super clean. Host very responsive and communicated well. Very nice studio with microwave, fridge and tons of extras like beach towels, board games, table for 2 outside. WiFi and TV channels were great too. I would say this property works best for people not planning to work or eat much in the studio. There’s no desk or table other than outside. So your work spaces would be TV trays with stands, top of the microwave, small area on one shelf, etc. So if you’re out and about and eating mostly out of restaurants, this is a super choice for you.

Cozy & Comfy Studio
I stayed at the property for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. The space fit two people perfectly. Even though all you have is a small fridge and kitchen, it was plenty for keeping a few breakfast options and reheatable dinner meals to save money on eating out. The neighborhood was super quiet - no loud street noises or loud music. Even with the 4th of July approaching people were really respectful of noise levels. I 100% recommend this spot if you are wanting to visit L.A., Newport’s or any other beach towns. It’s perfectly positioned so that traffic was never a major issue and there plentiful parking. Which can be a major issue in more popular locations. In fact, having such easy access to parking made the stay that more amazing.

This is a lovely studio with micro and fridge which you only need for snacks because there are a wealth of dining opportunities within a few miles in any direction. Miriam was a gracious host, checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed but still giving us privacy. There is a lovely patio area with couch, table and chairs. The neighborhood is fun to walk in and the beach is a little over a mile away. We will be sure to stay with Miriam any time we are in the LA area.

Excellent Stay
Such a homey sweet clean studio! Owners provided the extras that make a stay feel like home! Friendly hosts for sure and truly wanted to make sure our stay was a good one. If we are back in LA we definitely will stay there again!

Perfect...
This could not have been better. My daughter and I stayed for two nights. It was super clean, had all amenities needed and most of all felt super safe. Only short distance to beach and any restaurant of your choice ( we needed gluten free). Very happy. Will use again if needed.

We had a short but sweet stay in Torrance. We were in town for my sister's baby shower and the studio provided a clean, quiet and safe place to chill and sleep for our weekend trip. The space was immaculately clean, which I really appreciated. And although we weren't there during the day very much, it also had great light with a lot of big windows (with blinds). Would highly recommend.

A cozy spot for a getaway!
What a gem of a cottage! We wanted to escape the heat of AZ and spend some time at the beach. This proved to be the perfect home base to explore the South Bay. It is outfitted with everything you could need. The bedding was so soft and the couch was comfy. Miriam could not have been nicer or more welcome. She kept a very safe distance but also made sure we had everything we needed. Would certainly recommend and come back!

Perfect stay!
I could not have been happier with my stay, Miriam communicated perfectly prior to my arrival and let me know that they were social distancing because of Covid but she still checked on me upon arrival and made sure everything was good. I spent my trip working but was glad to have a very comfortable private and cozy place to sleep. Would recommend for anyone visiting the area! So close to the beach.

When life gives you lemons, this cottage is the lemonade!
My vacation seemed doomed when my daughter became ill and every day I worried about her and her newborn, and yet my 3 week visit was full of happiness and relaxation due in no small part to the gracious nurturing of my hosts and their delightful accommodations. Miriam kept everything clean and comfortable so that my return late at night was to a cozy respite from the day. Everything I needed was there from snacks to toiletries to hot showers and soft welcoming bedding. It's only a 5 minute walk to Starbucks through a lovely neighborhood. I will definitely go back soon!

Perfect base
This was a charming cottage that met our needs perfectly. Part of the beauty of the place is that although the owners live there, the unit is far enough away from the main house. We never saw the owners, but knew they were there if we needed them. The cottage is located in a residential area, with plenty of street parking. We were able to park close. There were three steps up from the side walk to the gate that leads to a fenced yard. There is a fence all around the property. We heard a few sirens, and faint barking dogs, but for the most part it was nice and quiet. We spent three nights. We like to attend a local festival held every year in late September. One of our friends who knows the area recommended a Peruvian restaurant located about a 10 minute drive from this property. The restaurant is called El Pollo Inka. It is well known for its chicken dishes, but it has beef and seafood as well. As I vegetarian, there are typically few options, but I enjoyed the fried rice. The dessert of pumpkin deep fried donuts with a honey sauce was marvelous. We went to the beach and there was a small fee (maybe $3) at a toll booth type building where one enters the parking area. There were picnic tables and restrooms. They even had outdoor showers with a foot wash/lower faucet. Although we did not use them, it was great that there were two beach chairs and an umbrella. We utilized the wi-fi that was available and had no problems. The pod coffee maker was stellar and much appreciated!

Great getaway!
Had a wonderful stay in this little cozy, comfortable cottage. Felt like our own little home. Close to beaches, shopping and some really great breweries/restaurants. Cottage had all the amenities you need. Hope to visit again someday. Thank you again!

Perfect getaway
I was coming to LA for a concert and wanted to stay closer to the beach for some real relaxation. Miriam’s casita was the perfect spot. Small and quiet, with all of the comforts of home. I would absolutely stay here again. The hosts give you the option to interact with them as much or little as you’d like. This place is a dream.

Cozy, comfortable, quiet home away from home
My teen daughter and I loved our stay. It was truly our *home* base as we went touring universities and the L.A. area. The cottage is well-equipped, and when we had a couple of needs, our hosts promptly helped us out. Both the bed and the pull-out sofa are very comfortable. Our hosts were friendly, kind, helpful, and responsive. I was impressed at how quiet it was to stay there -- something I very much appreciate. Thank you -- we'll be recommending your cottage!

I highly recommend Miriam’s cottage
I highly recommend Miriam’s cottage. She is such an amazing host and her home is perfect. The place is quiet, spacious and modern, and looks exactly like it does in the pictures. Our host was very helpful and the location was great. Everything was clean and Miriam is more than willing to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. The bed is comfortable, we also had a sofa bed as well. The bathroom and shower were excellent. Very tidy and lovely place equipped with microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge. We had tea, coffee, cups, paper plates and everything you may need. I found this place to be perfectly sized for two people. The cottage is in a family friendly neighborhood and it was perfect for us (me, a mum and her 17 y.o. son). Parking was very easy. We were here for some vacation time in January 2019 and visited Hollywood and Bevery Hills, Burbank (Warner Bros studio), Santa Monica beach and Disneyland from here. We loved our stay. If you are going to LA I’d recommend staying at Miriam’s cottage.

Miriam and Adam have a lovely place. My wife and I stayed here for the past five nights. The cottage is near everything and has a Starbucks right down the street!. The VRBO is comfortable, very clean, quiet and has a very good internet and tv connection. We would certainly come back.

it was definitely not a cottage, more like a chalet, not much room inside. my son had a small sofa bed to sleep on the first night. we shared my big bed after that, the bed was very comfy and huge.. Heating did not warm the room. Only a coffee machine, so we had to supply our own kettle to boil water for tea. this so called cottage was in this persons back garden like a converted shed, and it was about a mile and a quarter from the sea. I was so disappointed with it and that I had paid good money for I just broke down and cried

lovely hosts, and lovely clean, well situated cottage.
we arrived to a spotlessly clean quiet, cottage. It's close to the beach, shopping, and a multitude of restaurants. parking was never a problem and our hosts were charming and very helpful and knowledgeable with things to do and see in the area. we would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking of staying around Redondo beach, far more affordable than Santa Monica or Venice.

Cute cottage
We liked that it was quiet and clean. It's much bigger than a standard hotel room. There were water bottles and beer (we only took the water) so I wasn't sure if the owner provided that or the previous renters. Pleasantly surprised! The only downside was that it was a bit awkward to walk through the backyard, as we thought we might have been intruding.
