SoCal Getaway
The cottage was perfect for a four day trip to do activities and visit friends. Culver City is an excellent location with many easy to reach amenities. The host took care of all needs with quick responses and insights. I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful cottage in Culver City
Great and quiet location and Heidi was a terrific host! The cottage has everything you could possibly need. The shared garden with the fire pit is fantastic. The ability to use the bikes even adds to the thoughtfulness that has gone into the rental. Will definitely stay again on our next visit!

Wonderful little cottage
We had a wonderful stay in this property. One of the cleanest homes I have ever stayed in. My compliments to the cleaning crew. We loved sitting on the front porch and in the large back yard area. We will definitely stay here again when visiting our grandchildren in Culver City. Thank you for everything.

We'll Be Back!
The home is adorable and historic in a quiet neighborhood. It looks like something out of HGTV. Don't let the term "historic" mislead you -- It is fresh and updated, furnished stylishly and comfortably, especially the bed. I am picky and wanted a house with a queen/king supportive bed, bedside tables and reading lights. The host thought of everything including providing great info on local markets and restaurants which we loved. We used the bicycles one day and the grill our last evening. We were only a couple of blocks form SONY studios which we toured one morning and 10 minutes from our son who had just moved to LA six months earlier. It was so relaxing to have my morning coffee out on the front porch. Thank you, Heidi and we hope to come again! Diane and Rick

Amazing cottage!
Heidi has created a comfortable and adorable place to rest, recharge and explore Culver City and the the surrounding LA areas. Amenities are as noted in listing and her quick response to questions while visiting was a blessing. If I ever come back, I will rebook this home away from home.

Nice little place in a nice location
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is very small, but nicely remodeled, very clean and perfectly comfortable. The yard is nicely landscaped and the street is a dead end so it was very quiet. The location is great with lots of shops and restaurants within a short walk. Would have liked a little better internet speed (I needed to do a couple of Zoom meetings and it was a struggle), but would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic!
A great long weekend in LA. Came up for our son's birthday weekend. Had so much fun sightseeing. Cottage is centrally located to EVERYTHING! Close to airport. Heidi was super communicative. Cottage is super clean with everything you need. Backyard is a gorgeous oasis. Will definitely come again!

Exactly as listed and in the perfect and quiet location. We walked to some great restaurants. Proximity to Malibu, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and Anaheim was ideal. Heidi is a great host.

Fabulous Cottage
My daughter and I had a fabulous stay at this cottage. It had everything we needed and it was so relaxing to come back each evening. The street is quiet and there was ample parking. We enjoyed taking the bicycles out around Culver City. The cottage is well-situated and allowed us to get out and about in Los Angeles by car. Heidi is a great host and a good communicator. I would absolutely stay again. Thank you, Heidi!

Lovely cottage-like getaway!!
We just loved this little house! So clean with comfortable accommodations, and all the amenities you could need. So tastefully decorated and the bikes and outdoor fire pit were wonderful! My husband even soaked in the outdoor tub! Such a special place in a quiet area away from tourist areas but close to cute restaurants and shopping. Loved it!

A Throwback in Time
The cottage, circa 1924, provided EVERYTHING I needed. So clean, so comfortable, and on a street so peaceful. I loved walking to Culver Boulevard, and I loved feeling ocean breezes, seeing children walking home from school, listening to neighbors laughing and yakking away at Jackson Market. I came here to be alone, to write music. I am happy to say I wrote 12 songs in three days. I felt so relaxed, and able to let go deep into creativity. Heidi was wonderful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Absolute gem
Heidi's place was not only sparkling clean, but in a nice, quiet neighborhood that is located not far from many touristy spots and beaches. The decor and all the amenities were thoughtful and wonderful, from the fluffy soft towels, quality linens, shampoo & soap, trail mix, tea bags, etc. We didn't use the outdoor tubs (but what a great feature), but we did use the bikes and were able to ride to Venice Beach (and could've easily continued to Santa Monica). There were two of us staying but didn't want to share the bed so we brought and used a small air bed in the living room. It worked out perfectly. Heidi's communication was always prompt and friendly. THANK YOU Heidi for providing such a wonderful getaway place!

Heidi’s place was great!
The cottage was very very clean! Loved the newness of the kitchen and Heidi is lovely. The location was great as it was just down the street from the best part of Culver City. The only thing that was challenging was that there was very little space to put our things especially in the bedroom. We didn’t use the backyard space so I cannot speak to that but we would consider staying here again If ever visiting in the area again.

My only hesitancy in giving Heidi a glowing review is that she will book up even faster! Cottage is well appointed, bright, fresh, and clean, on a lovely, quiet street with an easy walking to the Plaza, restaurants, and parks. Cozy, Centrally-located and Delightful Stay
Visiting L.A. for several events, and needed a central location for my wife and a few friends. These cottages were absolutely perfect for our needs. And the owners/managers were friendly, communicative, helpful and professional. We would absolutely stay again....some details of our time there are below. Note, we stayed in two of the four units...the two street-facing units, so this review will be posted for both units. Parking: No off-street parking, but we easily found parking in front of the house and/or very nearby (few houses away at most). Couple of the days had alternate side of the street parking that limited spaces a tad, but absolutely not an issue for us. Neighborhood: Super quiet, and the homes/neighborhood is lovely. Walkable to downtown Culver City, near Jackson's Market which has an incredible outdoor seating area for quiet coffees/snacks/light meals. We walked about a mile to grab ice cream, assorted meals, etc. Easy drive to grocery stores and other needs. Very safe area, and did not feel like we were in the city. My wife and the friends with us were thrilled with the area. Cottages: Well-stocked, and had everything we needed. We didn't really use the stove, but ample space to cook if needed. Full fridge, and plenty of counter space. Bedding was comfy, and the cross-breezes with open windows/doors (have screens) were great. There were guests in the two back cottages, and we could hear them chatting, but there's enough division by fencing/hedges to never feel intruded upon. We used the shared common areas, and never felt crowded. Unfortunately, we did not use the bikes, outdoor tubs or fire pit, but they all were nice. The landscaping for the property is well-maintained and lush, and the overall setup of the property obviously had some thought put into it. The indoor spaces had creative touches, as did the outdoor areas. We spent a lot of time on the front porch, as there's a lovely fenced-in front yard. Functional, stylish and cozy overall. I wouldn't recommend for large parties, unless you booked all the units, but for couples, close friends and small families, we'd recommend. We didn't have any complaints. And even if we could find something we didn't like, based on our interactions with the hosts, we'd fully expect them to resolve them quickly. In fact, they allowed us to check-in a little early since our flights were earlier, and addressed an unexpected issue with professionalism and generosity. We will be back!

Cute cottage in lovely location
We enjoyed our one week stay at this cute little Carlson Park cottage in Culver City. It is in a small complex of about 4 guest cottages surrounding a nice common yard with tables, lounge chairs, gas BBQ, a fire pit and claw-footed soaking tubs. There are also bikes available. These are very special amenities. Because I am mobility impaired, it was difficult to get out the back door to the yard or into the front door without help because there are no handrails or bannisters. Installing wrought iron (or even wood?) hand rails would be a great safety improvement! Another issue is that we did have to ask for more toilet paper at one point and waited quite awhile for delivery. Also, we wished that a baking sheet had been provided. We frequently ordered pizza and other food delivery during our stay and loved the nearby Jackson Market & Deli with it’s gorgeous back patio!

Adorable cottage duplex
This was a great place to stay in Culver City! There’s street parking for this property, along with a few other rental units on the property (cottage is a duplex, with what appeared to be a rental on the other side, as well as some sort of rentals in the back yard). So we didn’t always get our parking spot in front of the cottage (i.e. if the people staying next door parked in the middle of the 2 street spots out front), but there was plenty of other street parking out front, so we never had to walk more than a couple houses down. Be sure to open the front and back windows when you return at the end of a day of adventures to get the cool breeze circulating air. There’s a window AC unit if you want to use it (we’re from the Midwest and assumed we’d need AC the first night, then realized it was much better just having the windows open the rest of our stay). We also enjoyed soaking in the sunshine after we woke up as it poured into the living room window. If we’re ever back in the area, this would definitely be a great place to stay again!
