Great stay

Staycation
What a perfect way to escape the heat and enjoy the perfection that is Malibu Road. The condo is clean and updated and there are no words to explain the view. Everything was exactly how it was reviewed. 5 stars across the board. We will most certainly be back.

Malibu Retreat
If you like to hear the ocean, watch dolphins and seals from the beachfront porch and NOT be right off the Pacific Coast Highway, this is the retreat for you. This location is nestled on a quiet off shoot road from the PCH, within striking distance (about 40 min / 1 Hr) of Santa Monica and Beverly Hills shopping and eateries. If you want to stay local you have a quiet beach and coastline to enjoy with views. Plenty of local eateries (most you have to drive to), but you can walk to the Malibu Seafood Fresh Fish Market for their fish and chips or calamari. Great location and stay. Will be back!

Good location
This is a nice 2 bedroom condo. The location is nice on the beach and the description provided was accurate. A little short on eating utensils but there is a dishwasher and soap provided.....if you have more than 4 eating it could be an issue. Furniture was comfortable although the deck furniture was worn a bit. Overall a good choice.

Amazing staycation
We had so much fun at this property! This is the second time our family of four and our small dog have stayed here and it won’t be our last. The location cannot be beat! Had our morning coffee on the deck while watching the dolphins. Then spent the days on the beach building sand castles and boogie boarding. Condo is well stocked with everything you need! All cooking utensils, shampoo and conditioner, sand toys, beach towels, beach chairs…etc. The property manager, Luis is super responsive. He texts back immediately for any question! Thank you for another great stay! See you next summer Malibu!

Amazing place!!

Enjoyed our stay
My son, small dog and I enjoyed 3 nights. Unfortunately the oven didn’t work and grill on deck is rusted…but the view, beachfront and time spent on private beach was priceless! Overall we enjoyed our stay for sure.

Thank you for you stay. Guest forgot to mention that we installed a new kitchen aid oven and new char-broil grill the next morning. Broke at 9pm, fixed by 10am. We always keep extras of everything in the garage! The beach is like having a boat.

Beachside Malibu
Lovely and calm- the views were gorgeous, and I saw a whale the first day! The beach was clean and great for walks, and the location was just far enough away from the busier areas of Malibu to be the escape we'd hoped for. Very comfortable, quiet and clean unit with a great porch. Great stay.

Excellent stay
We so enjoyed our 4 nights here. Incredibly relaxing, even with a 1 1/2 year old. He spent hours just playing with toys in the sand. The view from the condo could not be better. Excellent stay.

Local temperature during our stay was a little cool - May weather. The facility was outstanding: location, amenities, cleanliness. I would have liked details about entry into the unit somewhat sooner than the evening before our planned arrival. I was concerned that our travel plans might interfere with such communication (it did not). Everything as promised - highly recommend.

Amazing time in Malibu!

Best Beach Getaway
We loved our Malibu vacation and this property. All of our expectations were met or surpassed. The location was perfect right on the water, with plenty of walkable and playable sand and surf. The property is located in away that there was very little traffic so the ocean was the only sound we enjoyed. Everything we needed was available to us including all questions answered immediately by the host prior to check in. We shopped at nearby grocery for the stay and even enjoyed a couple of the hosts recommendations for restaurants. Our teens were awed by the views and didn’t mind our laid back pandemic vacation of ‘staying in’ at all. We usually take them into LA or OC for vacations but I think using Malibu as our home base will be our new normal. Thank you for a fantastic best of the BU experience.

Perfect location exactly as pictured
It is impossible to go wrong renting this unit on the sand off Malibu road far away yet close to grocery and food delivery. Absolutely beautiful peaceful and comfortable in every way for a vacation near home. We look forward to returning when we can enjoy all that west LA has to offer in addition to this special place. A great mental health getaway a stones throw away from the ocean.
The condo itself was clean and comfortable with up-to-date decor. The bedroom and bathrooms had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the utensils and pots and pans needed for a home cooked meal, as well as a small barbecue grill on the balcony we enjoyed one night. I can't say enough about the closeness of the ocean from our balcony. I could throw a stone and hit the water. I loved hearing the ocean as I laid in bed and this was with the window closed! I also enjoyed sitting on the beach reading and taking long walks along the waters edge which was just a few steps from the condo.The neighbors and the few people walking on the beach were friendly. The host and owner responded quickly to a minor repair problem and the host kept us informed by text on the outcome. They were nearby but we never seen them. This made me feel (for a short time anyway) that this was our home with no one looking over our shoulder or in our space. I plan on staying again and recommending this property for an annual coast trip that my siblings and I take yearly.

Amazing Place to Enjoy Malibu
My wife and I (and our college-aged daughter and a friend) absolutely loved our stay. The property was sizable, clean and quiet and was perfectly situated on the beach with stunning view. We were warmly welcomed by our Host (Waverly) and the other guests staying in the building (one or four rentals) were all friendly! We could not recommend more highly.

Beds couch and chairs all very comfortable Owner and property manager responded quickly to our requests Updated and decorated well Very Clean The Entry area was weird with covid...its shared with another entry The Wifi cuts out all the time Tv channels were minimal and access for other devices is limited Poorly stocked kitchen until we asked for more items Propane tank empty Poor kitchen lighting, some lights dont work Trash can was gross No beach access from deck Overall still a great place

We have YoutubeTV with all local channels in the LA area, netflix, hulu, hbo, showtime, starz, and amazon prime tv all pre-loaded. Not sure what other channels are out there, user error was a key problem here. Guest not familiar with smart TV's. Building has gigabit internet and needs a password spelled correctly. User Error. Never had a problem with wifi. Guest asked for more propane at 10pm, a new one was on the doorstep the next morning. Lights have dimmer switches and user error. A senior VP at Salesforce stayed here for a month prior with no issues.

Wonderful on the water on Malibu Road
Perfect location! Off of loud PCH and right on the beach of Malibu and the beach was dry, 7x24, which was wonderful! Property manager was always very available. Could use more kitchen tools and such but was quiet, clean. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Long weekend in Malibu
I stayed at this property for a long weekend in May with a friend and my dog. We had the best time! The property is located on a quite road and relatively quiet beach ( no public access nearby). In the past I have stayed on PCH and glad I changed it up this year. We are from the east coast, so this change in "quarantine view" was much needed! The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The views of the ocean from the balcony were spectacular. I would highly recommend this property.

Awesome place
Enjoyed staying at this location. It was very quiet compared to other places in Malibu. The views to the sea were spectacular as well as the waves sound. My only recommendation to the owner is to put an old school coffee maker instead of Keurig only . I love coffee, but dont like Keurig type coffee.

Perfect location, comfortable unit
We went off the advice of a friend who suggested to find a Malibu beach property on Malibu Rd, a quiet street off PCH, with a dry beach. This unit had that and more. Comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, cozy kitchen and living area, and awesome views throughout. The oceanfront deck had a great view and it was wonderful to hear the waves. The property manager (Waverly) was great, and available to answer any questions. She even came by when we had a question about the tv. She was very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. There were beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels available, and we used them all every day. The beach had soft sand and fun waves to play in. We were a short drive to Ralph's for groceries, Corral Canyon for hiking, and many restaurants for dining. We didn't think we'd use the A/C, but there was one night that was a little humid so it made sleeping more comfortable to turn it on overnight. That was nice to have. Parking was nicely marked for us and instructions to our unit were clear and easy. We were unable to get the small grill on the deck started, but otherwise the kitchen was nice, with a large refrigerator. It had everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Amazing Malibu
Gorgeous beach-front home, filled with wonderful amenities with views to die for. It had plenty of space, was beautifully decorated and - other than not having all my personal kitchen gadgetry to choose from - had what you needed to get most jobs done. The property manager was amazing - very helpful and accommodating and quick to respond. Parking was no issue with one dedicated driveway space and ample street-parking. And, was very close to Malibu proper and great dining/shopping options. We will definitely be back to this beautiful spot very soon to enjoy the warmer weather. Only notes to share: the coffee maker takes pods, so don't bring beans and know that there is no cable tv, only Netflix (which was perfect for us). :)

Beautiful, comfortable, great vacation!!
This is our second year vacationing in Malibu on this property and we just can't say enough about the owner and hostess. Super friendly, easy to work with, always available. The property itself is extremely well cared for, well furnished with beach decor which adds to the experience, not to mention THE VIEW. We are calling this our home away in Malibu. Can't wait to return next year!

Unbelievable view and great condo!
Unbelievable view and right on the beach! The condo was very nice and comfortable and had plenty of places you could sit and enjoy the ocean. The balcony is great when it's warmer and the living room was nice when it was cooler. You couldn't ask for a better beach to be on. It was uncrowded and great for playing in the sand with kids and wading into the water. Waverly was helpful without being intrusive. It was also on a small road instead of the PCH, so you didn't hear any road noise. Definitely five stars!
