One word of caution: Use Uber when traveling to/from the hotel to Old Town after dark, as the streets immediately around the hotel are not well traveled and felt uncomfortable at night.”

Throw back to a simpler time - the motel style reminds me of trips with my family as a kid with each room having its own entrance and the walkup to the 2nd floor. The clerk at check-in was friendly and efficient - after traveling most of the day, that was very welcomed. 100 numbered rooms are upstairs (just part of the charm :) and my room was cool and inviting.
