“Lovely house with great wraparound porch and gorgeous plants & trees. The lilacs, which I love, were blooming which was absolutely delightful - so aromatic and beautiful! The bed was very comfy and the view of the town and water was joyful. There's a lovely art gallery, used bookstore, and plenty of dining options nearby. A very sweet couple manages the inn and they're excellent cooks - Captain Sawyer's breakfast was beyond delicious - one day it was just me and they served huevos rancheros...

“Linda, the owner, was gracious and very accommodating. The room we had was very sweet, and the adjourning bathroom was large and had everything you’d need. We woke up to a delicious breakfast of homemade blueberry muffins, fresh yogurt with cream and berries and a hard boiled egg. She made a lovely presentation and really delicious muffins! Highly recommend Clary Lake as a great place to stay in the area. ”

“Lovely roomy inn in South Bristol, Maine on Christmas cove. The hosts Alex a nd Freddy were very friendly and welcoming. My room was spacious with a private full bath. There is a tower you can go up to via several staircases to an amazing view overlooking the water and pine trees. The made to order breakfasts were delicious. Lots of beverages available at anytime. We had some nice conversations. They are still remodeling and redecorating some areas from their new owership a year ago. ”

“This property was beautiful, comfortable and clean, centrally located but out of the main street crowds. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance so it worked out well. We would go back in a minute!! Carol is the ultimate hostess, and serves an amazing breakfast!!!!”

“A very unique property out of a Steven King mystery. The bathroom had a wonderful handpainted mural. Couple of miner things, light over bathroom sink did not work and no tissues in room.”
