Starting with the positive points:1. Good location, close to the beaches. Next to main road from Almancil to Quinta do Lago/Vale do Lobo but relatively quiet at night.2. Good size garden (not very large swimming pool tough).3. Good size BBQ, but placed right in front of a bedroom window, so if you forget closing the window the room will be filled with smoke.The not so nice things:1. On arrival instead with being greeted with a welcoming bottle of wine (or even water) you are informed that there are touristic taxes to be payed. These are legal but always included in the price. This was a first. They are referred to in the place description so always read the fine print to avoid nasty surprises.2. The place looks and feels cheap. For example, the place to eat outside its just some plastic chairs, a plastic table and a lamp hanging from the wall on two electrical wires. You cant seat straight on one of the rooms bathroom toilet without your knees hitting the lavatory (ridiculous). Everything is an absolute minimum.3. The villa is part of a compound with other villas and a kind of a farm where some days there are kids parties. If you intent to spend the days at the pool you can count on noise and lack of privacy (the place where those parties take place is right next to the villa and the fence offers no privacy).I do not recommend this place. For this price tag you can get much better in the same area. In fact, in 25 years this was my worst experience in Algarve

Grande maison, tres propre,les hôtes sint tres sympa, a l'écoute et tres promptes...la maison bien équipée, spacieuse et avec un jardin grande,piscine, tres propre... Situation tres proche de toutes les nécessité (5 min en voiture Lidle,aldi,etc,5 minute la plplage)

Superb luxury villa

This property sits on a farm and the location is tranquil and secluded yet only a short 7 to 10 minute drive away from some of the Algarves beautiful beaches.

Golf trip

Excellent set up, great location, garden and pool great. Hosts very friendly and helpful, plus the owners dog an additional bonus as amused us each day. If on a family holiday with kids, the private estate is incredibly safe.

Magnifique vacance

Magnifique maison qui est encore plus belle que sur les photos. Carlos et Estela sont très sympathiques et disponibles à tout moment de la journée. Le cadre autour de la maison est tout aussi magnifique avec un bar, minigolf, des animaux etc.… et tout est très bien entretenu. Vraiment des conditions au top. Nous avons passé avec nos amies de très très bonnes vacances. Voilà une adresse à ne pas oublier. À bientôt Carlos

Fantastic Location, Great Owner

Quinta Vita, is a fantastic property in a great location close to beaches, restaurant and shops. The house was clean and easily fitted 5 adults and 4 kids, the swimming pool and table tennis kept us all well entertained and with the fruit trees, animals and Carlos’s bar area there was always something new to try! Carlos and his family, made us feel welcome and where always on hand when help was needed. A lovely property with great owners, we will be back.

Summer 2019 Vila Uva

We stayed one week at Vila Uva and it was fantastic. The house is very spacious it has 4 toilettes. The garden is spacious and very pleasant, the swimming pool has a good size and it was clean. You can find a good shades in the garden to read or to have a siesta, and it was close to very nice beaches (Garrao) and places to do grocery shop. Overall a good place to spend your holidays.

Nice stay in July

Nice house with nice garden. Pool not heated but in a sunny position. Carlos, the manager, is very friendly. Kids will love to walk around the farm picking fruit and looking at the animals

Fantastic home for a family holiday

I booked this holiday for a family holiday (9 adults) and it was absolutely perfect. Carlos was very attentive and he responded to all my queries prior to my arrival in a very timely manner. Carlos met us when we arrived and introduced us to the villa and the surrounding spaces. Location: fifteen drive from Faro airport, but in a quiet area close to supermarkets. The villa: the villa was absolutely perfect. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were very modern. The living room area was large and we could all enjoy the space comfortably together. The kitchen was a great size and was well equipped to cater for the 9 adults staying, as well as cooking lots of food too. The fridge freezer was spacious and there was an additional freezer too, which was helpful. The garden space was beautiful. Large and open and accommodated everyone comfortable - plenty of sunshine to enjoy too! The swimming pool was also a good size and was all very clean. The farm: the best part of this holiday was exploring the grounds. We spent most of our days walking in the grounds, picking fruit and exploring. We were lucky enough to have oranges, figs, avocados and grapes during our visit. There are plenty of animals in the grounds too, as well as Carlos' two large (but friendly!) dogs. The grounds: We played tennis and enjoyed the gym, as well as cycled around the grounds using the bicycles that Carlos has available at the premises. It was great fun to all cycle round and race together! Carlos has also created a lovely bar/play area for smaller children, which the adults made full use of! The bar is a great touch and meant that you could have a few drinks, whilst playing snooker and mini golf. Carlos hires out the play area for parties, but this was not a problem, despite there being three events during our stay. Villas are closed off and so you can continue to enjoy the quiet space. All in all my family and I would highly recommend this villa. It is clean, spacious and has everything you need plus more. Carlos and his wife were very accommodating and extremely helpful in answering questions before and during our trip. This is the perfect villa for a family holiday and you will not be disappointed if you book. If we ever find ourselves in Faro again, we will definitely be staying at this Villa again - just perfect! Thank you Carlos for your hospitality and for going out of your way to make this family holiday a very enjoyable one :)

Magnifique séjour

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour en famille dans cette superbe villa, au calme et très bien équipée. Carlos Fernandes et son épouse nous ont réservé un chaleureux accueil. Ce sont des personnes particulièrement sympathiques et serviables... toujours à notre disposition. Nous reviendrons très certainement !
