Spektakulär Kezar Lake-fastighet på östra stranden av Upper Bay; vita Mtn-solnedgångar

"Hilamayna" är ett vackert sjöhus i Adirondack-stil som ligger på 2 ½ privata tunnland på den mest önskvärda östra stranden av Lake Kezars Upper Bay. Det öppna däck, skärmad veranda och sovrum har fantastisk utsikt västerut över sjön till solnedgångar över Vita bergen, från Baldface till långt bortom Speckled Mountain. Fastigheten erbjuder en ovanlig kombination av integritet, men ändå enkel tillgång till Rte 5 för bekväm shopping, restauranger och dagsturer.
Shinglehuset byggdes 2011 och består av en huvuddel som sover sju och ett parhus pensionat med två sovplatser. Huvudsektionen ger ett stort öppet kök, matplats och vardagsrum med vedspis. Det stora sovrummet med en fransk dörr på däck har ett stort badrum med dusch och badkar. Två stora öppna loftar på övervåningen ger sovplats för tre på två enkelsängar, med sitt eget halvbad direkt vid foten av trappan. Nedför trappan finns det ett privat sovrum och en komplett badsvit med egen ingång från naturen. Det rymliga och luftiga gästhuset nås via en täckt vindkanten utanför huvudhuset. Den har en dubbelsäng och ett badrum med dusch. Det finns också ett rustikt bunkhouse utan VVS som rymmer två, beläget halvvägs ner till sjön .. Fastigheten lutar brant ned genom skogen och en vacker äng till 335 fot privat strandlinje. Husets läge cirka 90 fot ovanför sjön ger fantastisk utsikt och en del välkommen avskildhet från sjöns liv. Vid stranden finns en brygga med badstege och även en separat sitt- / badplats med Adirondack-stolar, för mer gradvis tillgång till sjön för små barn. Två kajaker finns. En förtöjning utanför bryggan kan användas för en liten båt, som bekvämt kan sjösättas vid den närliggande rampen för allmänhetens åtkomst.
Bekvämligheterna inkluderar WiFi, ett fullt utrustat kök med mikrovågsugn, kaffebryggare och diskmaskin. En tvättmaskin och torktumlare finns också.

Wonderful place on earth!

Beautiful property with stunning views. Clean and wonderfully set. A very comfortable house with ample room and amenities. Lake Kezar is really one of a kind. There was a very nice dock and float that was great for swimming and launching the provided SUPs and kayaks. The water was pristine. My family loved everything about our stay there. We certainly hope to be able to return in the future.

Stunning Sunsets and Lake View

We were lucky enough to come back to this gorgeous home again. The layout is perfect for our group, plenty of wide open room for all. The upgrades in the kitchen were duly noted and appreciated. However, the new dock at the water was REALLY appreciated. Being allowed to use the kayaks is such a treat to get out on the lake and see those loons close up. Only one in the group was brave enough to try the stand up paddle board and had success, so another happy moment! Kezar Lake is beautiful and this home gives you a fabulous space to enjoy it!

Lovely place on a great lake.

Lovely new property. Very comfortable for our group which included children ages 2,4,6 and 13 parents and three post 65 adults. We were joining other families at other properties near by and the set up worked very well for us.

Stunning Property

This is our second year staying at this property after 50+ years of coming to Kezar Lake. We have stayed at 5 different homes over the years and this one is the nicest hands down. We had one minor worry over a small leak after a torrential downpour and the owner got back to us right away. Everything you need is right there including kayaks to enjoy the water. We hope to be back again next year!

Luxurious Rental on Kezar Lake

This is not your typical lake house - it is new, modern, very well built, excellent location, kitchen stocked with everything one needs, nicely furnished and spacious. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The loft area was perfect for our 3 grand daughters. An adult would also be comfortable in the lofts. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck and screened porch along with a glass of wine watching the sunset. One can either walk or drive to the lake. We had no issues walking down to the lake as the house sits up on a slight hill overlooking the lake. Kezar Lake Country Club is near by for a round of golf. We rented a boat from Lee at the Marina and this house has a comfortable dock. The owner of the house was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. If you are searching for an up to date lake house - look no further as you will enjoy this property.

Spectacular

We have been visiting Kezar Lake for over 50 years and we all agreed this was the best house we ever rented. The layout of the house worked so well for our group. The two porches overlooking the lake couldn't have been better. The eagle flying overhead was an awesome touch! It was not possible for everyone to reach the lake as the road is rather steep, but the ones who did go down loved using the kayaks and seeing the loons up close. We look forward to returning!

Beautiful lake home

This is a beautiful well equipped home with everything you can possibly need for a relaxing vacation. We spent a lot of our time in the spacious screened in porch overlooking the lake and Mountain View. There is plenty of reading material new and old that gave you a real feeling about the area, especially the book on Severance Lodge. The owners have gone out of their way to provide for all your needs with top rated accessories. We had a wonderful relaxing time and are thankful to the owners to be able to rent their beautiful home .

Pros & cons

The floors wear extremely squeaky in the kitchen and master bedroom, this was extremely annoying . Ant traps on kitchen counter, kitchen draws could be cleaner . The place was picked up but definitely could use a deep clean. Considering the cleaning fee we paid we expected more The shed down below was loaded with bees definitely not a bunkhouse. The view and water was amazing and we did enjoy our stay. The use of two kayaks was very nice.

Wonderful property - serenity from the workaday world

Lovely, well appointed house. Came with our "family by choice." Enjoyed adequate indoor space, but spent much of our time at the lakeside. Built a camp fire everyday which kept bugs at bay and have the kids an activity. Bright or own kayaks but 2 kayaks cube with the house. We also rented paddle boards which were put to good use. We thoroughly enjoyed our time away from the world without cell phone service (though there is wifi at the house). Only downside is the steep slope down to the lake. We were ok with this, but or legs definitely got a workout!

This beautiful lake house was perfect for our family. It rained every day we were there but the screened in porch was the perfect gathering spot to play games and still enjoy fresh air and of course listening to the loons calling every morning and evening, our grandson loved that. Hoping to go back next summer.

Georgeous lake views

Lovely home. For a party of 7 with an infant and toddler it worked out well. Only downside. It’s a little far from the lake. The steep hike made it a little tricky. An absolute wonderful spot with beautiful views

Wonderful family vacation

My family has recently returned from a lovely week at this spectacular home. The beauty and tranquility are remarkable and beyond restorative. We loved the lake and were amazed at how quiet it was, a refreshing change from some other lakes we have visited. The water was amazingly clear and refreshing. It was a joy to kayak along the shore taking in the natural splendor. I would highly recommend this property!

A Spectacular Retreat

My family had a delightful stay here - the mountain view from the cabin is just wonderful (sunrises, sunsets, and inclement weather were all a joy to watch). The facilities (kitchen, laundry, beds, etc.) were fully as-described and provided a very comfortable setting for a large group; the living room, dining room and porch provided ample space for everyone to relax. We visited with two toddlers, and they had a great time both in and around the cabin and down at the water (note that there is a 5-minute walk downhill to the lake). Highly recommended!

Spectacular Summer Getaway

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this summer home. The house is set up perfectly for a large family and the attached guest room is perfect for visiting guests. The view from the home is just as advertised with beautiful hilltop view of mountains off to the west. We spent many hours in the water and on the kayaks and the kids even caught a few small mouth bass off the dock. Beautiful home in a serene setting

Our family had a fantastic time at Kezar Lake. The home was fully equipped to meet all of our needs. Working with the owner to prepare for our vacation was an easy, pleasant experience. The view from the home is spectacular. We sat on the deck for meals overlooking the lake and gazed at the the mountains beyond. We particularly enjoyed the seclusion. The home is tucked in the hillside and no immediate neighbors are visible. Also, whether looking from the house or relaxing at the dock, there are very few homes to see, just gorgeous lake, forest and mountains. We went on many kayak excursions, enjoyed swimming in the pristine lake, and just relaxing in the very comfortable home.
