âA five star property and staff â some of the best food weâve ever had traveling, and here it is in the Yorkshire Dales! Friendly, helpful staff to a person, every shift, every position. The historic manor house buildings are beautiful, tastefully updated to allow a glass-walled dining wing that looks out over the rolling green hills. Itâs a stunning setting.
The bedroom is the only shortcoming. Peer facilities might offer visitors pillows of various stiffness to accommodate different sleepersâ...

âA lovely country pub, with excellent, beautifully cooked food. The hosts are exceptionally helpful and friendly, and couldnât do enough for us. Very dog friendly - we were able to have our Labrador with us when we ate in the bar. Bedroom quite small, but manageable. Situated in a really beautiful area, and within easy reach of Richmond, which is an interesting, historical town with lots to see and do. â

"The location is a perfect ten, but the staff was far from good. First of all, it took us 1.5 hours to check in, and we didnât sense any effort to speed up the process. There was a complete lack of willingness from the staff to make our experience enjoyable.
