Beautiful remodeled retreat on tranquil North bay of Bone Lake.

No detail of this year round Bone Lake retreat has been overlooked. 2023 remodel includes new Andersen windows and doors throughout, barn wood millwork and high end finishes. Gorgeous floor to ceiling windows and doors with vaulted knotty pine ceiling in the open floor plan living area. Leathered granite countertops, hickory cabinetry, barn wood millwork and doors, Bosch appliances, beds and furniture with luxurious linens and bedding, en-suite master bath with soaking tub and heated floor. This west facing, handicap accessible home sits on nearly one acre with main level living has a field stone wood burning fireplace, 65" smart TV with sound bar, and a fully loaded kitchen with all the amenities for you to prepare meals. Enjoy sunsets and nature while looking out at the peaceful north-bay of Bone Lake.

Known for both fantastic fishing as well as recreation this level-lake front property has it all. Close to ATV, Snowmobile, Ski Resorts, Golfing, Vineyard, Breweries and Hiking and Biking Trails to enjoy this lake home year-round. Fiber optic internet. Firewood, kindling, and firestarters are provided for indoors and out.

This lake home was amazing! So clean and cozy and very well taken care of. They really go above and beyond to supply everything you might need & more! We rented a pontoon from someone the owners suggested and it worked out perfectly! Nice lake & swimming too! Beautiful!

A Every detail was thought of at this beautiful lake escape! Our family had an amazing time here. The kitchen it high-end and has everything you'd possibly need. All the beds and pillows were so comfortable! The outdoor areas were very well kept. Our son really enjoyed all the lawn games that were in the toy shed. The owners are wonderful with communication and the pontoon referral worked out perfectly! We will be back again:)

In the evenings, the quiet was punctuated only by the distant call of loons 🦆 and the soft rustle of leaves . Such attention to comfort and detail made it easy to settle in and feel at home , allowing us to focus on what mattered most: creating lasting memories together .

Incredible home! Laura & Jason were the BEST hosts I have ever rented from. They were responsive and quick to questions and provided the most amenities I have ever seen. Everything from outdoor toys to a stocked kitchen with spices, condiments, coffee & tea, and smores fixings. The bathrooms were stocked with prime essentials for hair and skin and the beds were super comfortable. The pictures don't do the house justice. It was a gorgeous home and the yard is even prettier than the photos. The lake was fun. We saw tons of wildlife, including a family of swans and eagles galore. Loved the ice cream boat too!

Family togetherness and fishing

Four of us stayed at “Bone Lake Escape” for 4 nights; my husband and I along with his sister and her husband. The home is lovely with absolutely everything we needed to be immediately comfortable. We cooked every meal except one in the well supplied kitchen. Appliances are all like new and latest models. Beds are cozy and comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. The living area has plenty of great seating to encourage long conversations. The dock is perfect for our fishing boat and the boat dock is less than a mile away which was very convenient. The back yard is huge and beautifully maintained. It is a great place to stay; we will be back!

Great Getaway

The property was gorgeous. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, by the fire pit and on the dock overlooking the lake-very peaceful.The home was beautiful, well kept up, and well-stocked with what we needed for our stay. Loved the structure and decor. There were four of us there, siblings spending time together to honor the memory of our mom who passed almost 10 years ago. Lots of laughs, a few tears, and some great discussions.We all agreed that it was a home we could see ourselves coming back to .

The Rainy Day Paradise

For the last decade, our summer family vacation has been at Bone Lake. If you are a fisherperson, love water sports, enjoy swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, sun-seeking, or marveling at Trumpeter swans, geese, herons, bald eagles or loons, Bone Lake will NOT disappoint. This year, due to weather (it was cold and rained 8 out of our 10 day stay) our focus changed from spending every last waking minute on the lake to enjoying quality time indoors as a family which included members from 3 generations. We could not have imagined a more PERFECT place for this to happen!!! Laura has put thoughtful consideration into every detail by providing every amenity to exceed your needs and expectations. Along with the beautiful decor, the house layout easily accommodates a large group while the impressive main bedroom and bath offer privacy and a beautiful lake view. Jason made us feel welcome even before we arrived and throughout our whole stay. It quickly became our home away from home. Thank you, Jason and Laura for sharing your home with us to create another year of priceless memories.

Owners ruined our vacation

Our family had a home on the lake for 30 years and we were excited to return but the owners lack of boundaries absolutely ruined our time there. The front door lock was not working properly when we arrived and the owners said they'd come fix it. They also used the time to restock the house and enter it multiple times and scared my son and nephew by barging into their bedroom unannounced. They also called on our final night to tell us their concerns about our dogs after a friend contacted them and then requested photos to see if there was damage. Talk about ruining our last night. We made sure we took photos of the property to document how we left it should there be issues. They texted us telling us we should be ashamed of ourselves. My party included my parents, husband, two tween/teen kids, my nephew, and two dogs under 25 lbs. The experience was just horrible. Should you rent this home just protect yourself by taking pictures when you arrive and leave and keep all communications via the app. I've never had such a negative rental experience.

A great stay!

This place is beautiful. It had been remodeled and it was so very tastefully decorated, with top end appliances, no clutter, and had everything one would need. The beds were wonderful, sooo very comfortable, something you don't always find in a rental. The place was clean, spotless. It was all one level, with level walkout to the dock. The dock was great and easy to dock our boat,and we could see our boat clearly from both the kitchen/dining/living area and also the master bedroom. The boat landing is just down the road so that was very simple to launch our boat.. There is no beach or swimming at the shore, which wasn't an issue for us, but there are sandbars down the lake where alot of people were swimming. We enjoyed bonfires at night with plenty of firewood provided. We caught alot of fish, mostly panfish and bass, but saw some big muskies swirling. It was a very quiet neighborhood, which made it feel so private. It is a great place and we plan to come back. Thank you Laura and Jason!

Relaxing lake stay

We loved this home! The hosts were extremely hospitable and added a lot of personal touches to their home to make it special. Thank you! Our dogs also loved being included on our trip. It was very nice to have a safe enclosure to let them go outside in.

Perfect Relaxing Stay

A lovely place. The handwritten note and chocolates when we arrived set the tone for a perfect stay. It was cold and blustery, but that was fine. We got out walking the dog to the little neighborhood park by the boat launch, and took a day trip to Crex Meadows to see the Sandhill cranes and Trumpeter swans. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, with more than enough space for four of us plus dog. The neighboring cabins are close, but no one was there, so we were in our own little world. The view out the windows is perfect - we saw some amazing sunsets!

Amazing visit on Bone Lake

Laura and Jason's home is hands down the nicest vrbo we've visited. Beside being a beautiful home on Bone Lake, it was the best supplied we've encountered. The thoughtful, small touches made us feel at home. As others have said, the linens and beds are great. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, dishes and spices. The property is peaceful. Although there are houses on either side, you would never know it. Even on Labor Day weekend, we couldn't hear the neighbors because of the placement of the houses. If you have a boat, the dock is sturdy and the boat launch is down the street, which has a park and is a nice walk with the dog. The water at the dock is a little shallow for swimming, but not far is a sand bar in the lake that is so much fun to visit. The lake offers great fishing and we caught many from the dock. There is a cool restaurant, Wilkens, on the lake which we took advantage of. The town of Luck has some cute breakfast places and a fun bar and grill. We did so much exploring from this location. Starting with Duluth/Superior in the north, across to Spooner and Hayward and down the St Croix River to Prescott. We kayaked the St Croix several times, there are several good liveries in the area. Interstate Park, Wisc and Minn, offer lots of walking trails. Did we mention micro breweries and wineries? Really, so much to do from "base camp" at a most beautiful home. Thanks to Laura and Jason for sharing their little piece of heaven with us!

GReat Lake Home

Laura and Jason's place was perfect for our family and friends to enjoy for a weekend. We brought our boat and they are conveniently located right next to the public launch. In addition they have all sorts of toys to enjoy, and great yard for games. The home itself was clean and spacious, and we certainly plan to return. Highly recommend it.

Very Nice
