Nestled on a sunny hillside overlooking Lugano, the property is arranged over two floors connected only by an external staircase. Guests will need to climb 19 steps to reach the entrance to the ground floor, where two bedrooms are located, and an additional 17 steps to reach the 1st floor.

On the 1st floor, the charming living and dining rooms both open onto a delightful balcony. Here, guests can unwind with a book or relax with an aperitif and enjoy the incredible mountain views. The living room is furnished with characterful vintage furniture including a comfortable sofa, two armchairs and a Smart flatscreen Satellite TV. A separate kitchen is equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, a cooker hob, an oven, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer.

Access requires navigating several steps, which may not be ideal for small children, and there are no internal stairs between the ground and 1st floor.

Casa Nido - Panoramica is situated in the village of Aldesago in the hills above Lugano. The property is accessed by a steep, winding road or the funicular of Aldesago, which is conveniently located a 5-10-minute walk away. The funicular also takes visitors to the terraced restaurants and heavenly views at the summit of Monte Bre.

The centre of Lugano, with Parco Ciani, the iconic Piazza della Riforma, Trenino Turistico and Lugano’s casino is just a 12-minute drive. However, for those who want to unwind away from the crowds, Lido San Domenico and the Olive Grove trail for lakeside hiking are also a 10-minute drive.

For day trips, guests can head to Montagnola (a 22-minute drive) and visit the Hermann Hesse Museum. Guests can also visit the prettiest village in Switzerland, Morcote (a 30-minute drive). Guests are also within easy reach of Lugano’s Golf club (a 25-minute drive)
