The bright studio apartment sleeps 2 people. The spacious living room has a large window and door that leads out onto a private covered balcony with a wooden table and two chairs. The elegant living area, with its pale stone floors, has a contemporary sofa, coffee table and a flat screen Smart TV. At the other end of the room there is an open plan kitchen equipped with everything you might need during your stay: a cooker hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and Nespresso machine. Next to this is the dining table with 2 chairs.

Location
Even if you are in Lugano for business there are plenty of distractions for you to enjoy during your free time. For holiday makers, the options are endless. In the Ticino Canton, in Italian-speaking Switzerland, Lugano really combines the best of both cultures. This heritage is celebrated at MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (20 minute walk) which hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. The city also hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the “Luganomusica” festival every summer.

A day trip on the Lago Lugano is a must, as is a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake. Another favourite is Piazza della Riforma (20 minute walk), the heart of the city. It is a beautiful square lined with excellent restaurants and cafés.

For self-catering, there are many excellent food shops in the city, as well as the farmers market on Tuesday and Friday in Via Carducci (20 minutes walk).

The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 5 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20 minute journey. Arriving by train? Lugano’s railway station is a 25 minute walk from the apartment.
