Luray bondgård vid floden

En vacker, privat bondgård vid floden Shenandoah. Detta är en fantastisk plats för friluftsentusiasten och gränsar till George Washington National Forest. Den här platsen är perfekt för vandring, kajakpaddling, fiske med en offentlig båtramp i närheten. Flera sovrum och massor av sängar a. Stort stort sovrum med utsikt över floden, stora badrum, byråer, ett stort vardagsrum / sittgrupp, TV, stort fullt kök, skafferi och tvättstuga. Njut av beakfast på oss din första morgon!

Bottenvåningen har ett komplett kök, kaffebar, matsal, vardagsrum, TV, internet, skinnsoffa och fåtölj, stort badrum, stort sovrum med king size-säng och en utdragbar futon. Det finns eldstäder men de är inte tillgängliga för användning.

Det finns mycket utrymme i det här huset. vänligen förstå om du vill ha hela huset måste du boka för 18ppl. andra kloka sängar arrangeras för mängden människor.

Det finns ett sovrum i bottenvåningen, en futon, en soffa och en fåtölj.

På övervåningen finns en kung en drottning och en dubbel, 2 tvillingar och 2 futons och ett komplett badrum.

Great stay for a local livestock show

We had a great time and PLENTY of space for our 3 families of all ages. It was off the beaten path but within 10 min to everything you could want. Home is so spacious and the owner was amazing to work with! She even left breakfast goodies. There are little bars but remember, you’re on the river so it’s expected and they communicated that. The water has a terrible smell at first because again, your on the water but once you run it a bit l, it cleared right up. We would absolutely reccomend this home!

Nice spot for a family gathering

We rented the house for a small family gathering and cookout on my brother’s 60th birthday. It worked very well, and everyone had a great time. Very nice location on the river. Just be aware that’s it’s next to a pasture on the river, so there are lots of bugs. Don’t leave the doors open. Still a great spot though.It just happened that there was a classic car show at “Cooters” up the road the weekend we were there. A little extra traffic, but lots of fun.

Family

We live in Cumberland, MD and had family coming up from Florida. My niece was getting married in Luray. We found this house that was perfect for our large family and only 20 minutes away from the wedding site. Loved the charm and the closeness of the river. And it was great to all be together to spend time with the Florida family too.

Surprise 70th birthday celebration

Invited family from out of state to surprise my husband for his 70th birthday. Location allowed everyone to spread out as needed. The dining setting is perfect for large groups. Great time had by all.

Country Living

The house was definitely rural. The river flowing by was very peaceful. The big yard is a great place for kids to toss a ball. The best time to stay would be late spring, summer, early fall.

Nice location, authentic farmhouse

We rented this property primarily to accommodate some family and friends attending our small wedding in Luray because it has several bedrooms. One thing to note is that the host charges $50 extra per night per person, which is not disclosed on the listing. So if you are looking to add additional people beyond your reservation, keep that in mind. The house is definitely laid out for a farm family and would be easier with a family group rather than a mixed one. It has 5 bedrooms on the second floor, which are connected to each other and share the same bathroom. One set of bedrooms (queen and double) don't have a door between them and the other set (king, queen, and twins) have only one door to the main hallway and means that anyone staying in the queen or twins has to come through the king to use the bathroom in the hall. Overall, the quality of the house is adequate and the first floor is more spaciously laid out. Lastly, there is a lovely view of the river but remember, it's Virginia so deer ticks are a thing.

Great farmhouse in the country!

Great old farmhouse in the country with lots of charm! Beautiful views of the mountains and fall foliage. Lots of space to spread out and great for just being outside. Far enough away from the city but still close to shopping and other activities. Would definitely go back!

Wonderful house and stay!

This house is the best! Clean! Very Clean. We stayed here 2 nights we kayaked and floated the river every day. It’s very convenient area for a nice float. Some of us fished. Fishing was great! 7 of us stayed in the house. We were very comfortable. Some rooms you have to walk through to get to others. We loved it! We took our side by sides so we could pull our kayaks back to the house. The house has a kitchen fully equipped, and supply’s coffee. We had eggs and bacon in the fridge as well. There is also a gas grill! Check in and out was great! As always we leave a house like we found it! We will be back for a longer stay next time!

Tubing bachelor party

Great place for our tubing bachelor party. The house was clean, great location, plenty of space and bedding for our group! They were able to accommodate our last minute request to increase our increase of guests. It was perfect and close to the river rider outfitters, for tubing down the Shenandoah river. We will definitely stay here again for the next event down by luray! Great place and a great host!

Beautiful location

Quaint farmhouse in a beautiful location. We loved watching the cattle in the adjoining fields and saw wild turkeys. Amenities are basic. Would not recommend for the posted occupancy of 22. The TV room seats 7, for perspective. The single most needed improvement are blinds or curtains for all windows in the bedrooms. The windows are large and beautiful, but most people will not want to change clothes in the 1st floor bedroom when they could be seen from the side porch. We did have a good time.

Spectacular farmhouse on the river

An incredible rental for a group of friends or family gathering. This would be the perfect place if only it had a dock or landing on the riverfront property. Floating down from different public boat launches. One option gives you a 6 hour float to the house or about 4 1/2 hours boat launch to boat launch. Or from 0.5 miles up the road to the farmhouse in an 1 1/2 or approximately 5 beers! The beers are needed to stomach the mushy takeout! Everything else was perfect!

Excellent House for River Tubing/Float

House is nice in size, and has beds for friends and family to get together for a river float. Everything needed is at the house and the property manager is easy to get in contact with. Internet and AC are bonus!
