Summary:
Beautiful 1 bed, 1 bath private flat near beaches, marinas, fishing and boating!

The Space:
Experience a piece of Southern Maryland history. Bancroft Manor was among the first homes along St Leonard's creek. Every square foot of this house was renovated in 2019 - but the unique Tidewater Maryland architecture remains.

The Manor resides on 3 secluded acres. Close to everything Southern Maryland has to offer, yet feels a million miles away.

The Terrace Suite has a private patio with gas grill and and it's own private entrance. There are no spaces (other than the 3 acres of property grounds) that are shared with other guests or the owners.

Your suite is appointed in absolute luxury! Not a detail has been missed in making this your new favorite get away spot.

The fully equipped kitchen has a full sized fridge, cooktop and large single basin sink. As well as everything you need to prepare and enjoy a meal. The kitchen also has a microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher.

You'll find a starter supply of coffee pods, sugar packets, toilet paper (3), and paper towels (1).

Your living room is appointed with a 32 inch smart TV. Login to your Netflix, Hulu or Prime TV account and watch your favorite movie or show.

High Speed WIFI is available.

Your bedroom has a comfortable plush queen bed that you may never want to leave. But the idea of sitting out on your terrace with a cup of coffee listening to the birds and taking in the view may just be what you need to get you up in the morning. You'll have an nightstand and lamp on your bedside table and easy reach for device charging.

The bathroom has a tiled stand up shower and large pedestal sink. You'll also find premium shampoo, conditioner and body wash should you need it. Space in the bathroom has been maximized and designed with clean lines and ease-of-use in mind, so everything you need is within reach.

Enjoy your evenings on the terrace with a glass of wine. Grab some local meat/produce just up the road at The Chesapeake's Bounty and fire up the grill. Or take a 5 minute stroll just down the road for a drink and dinner on the water at Vera's Beach Club.

The Neighborhood:
While this property is not directly on the water, the water is all around us and our property has seasonal views. You can take a 5 minute walk down the road to Vera's and be right on the water for lunch/dinner and water fun.

Whatever you're looking for in a relaxing get away - you'll find it here in Solomons/Lusby! Launch a kayak, stand up paddle board, ride a jet ski, take a hike...or bring a book and just relax and enjoy a picnic on the property.

Solomons boardwalk is a 10 minute drive down the road with the best seafood this area has to offer. Drive (or take an Uber if you want throw back a couple cocktails) to Solomons and enjoy the best sunset you've seen in a long time.

Everything SOMD has to offer is within a 10 minute drive -
Solomon's Island Boardwalk and restaurants, Calvert Cliffs State Park beaches and hiking, Fishing, boating and marinas are all within a short drive.

We had the most comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was perfect for site seeing, shopping and other activities near by. The property is beautiful. The apartment was cozy. Julie was so gracious and such an awesome host. Don't miss out on this one.

We had a wonderful time ! The place was perfect . We brought our bikes and paddle boards . Julie was very helpful in recommending her favorite public beach . Solomon's island boardwalk area is a quick drive. We hope to be back :)

The place is exactly as described. It's cozy and well appointed. Everything you could possibly need to make yourself comfortable is there. Julie's recommendations of places to visit and dine are on point as well. I would love to stay there again if I ever find myself back in the east coast. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

I have stayed here in October 23 and loved then. I needed to come back to the area for some sad family matter. When i was done for the day with that business i could return to this relaxing space. It is close to so many activities and interesting parks.

The cozy apartment was perfect for the two of us. Cleanliness, amenities and atmosphere were wonderful. A quiet, peaceful retreat even in the winter. Site easily accessible to local attractions, but felt secluded as well. Host was so responsive to my questions. I would only recommend that a floor lamp be added to the main room to add to the ambiance. DEFINITELY would request this property again for another visit.

My husband and I needed a break and have a tight budget. Our only objective was to be able to relieve some stress by looking at a large body of water. We picked Julie's place because of the rate and the photos, and we weren't disappointed. It is a lovely suite, quiet, comfortable, and very conveniently located to all the state parks, Solomons, and historical areas. We got to experience the Bay, the Potomac and the Patuxent and felt refreshed. We greatly enjoyed our visit and hope we can return! Thank you, Julie and Jason!

Stayed at this wonderful apartment while visiting local beaches over the weekend. This is a perfect place for a couple looking to explore the Solomon's Island area. Julie, our host, was superb. She provided excellent communications throughout our stay. We highly recommend staying at this little gem.

This property was just as advertised. It was cozy and had everything we needed for the two of us. Proximity to things-to-do was perfect. The area was quiet (we heard nothing when indoors and very little while outside- just the occasional car or walker). Communication with Julie was ideal! She checked on us via the app, offered suggestions in advance- just wonderful. Thank you Julie for allowing us to stay and we’re looking for reasons to return!

My stay at this property was both quiet and comfortable. Beyond all of my expectations. I was close to Solomons and while resting couldn’t have been happier with my accommodations. Best nights sleep in a most decadent bed. Truly a hidden paradise. As night descended, a gorgeous display of perfect light lit my path as a took an evening stroll. I was able to prepare meals with ease. I highly recommend this spot to detach from the hectic pace of the everyday!

This property was spotlessly clean and appeared just as advertised. Lovely quiet patio with table & chairs and grill. Totally private. Entry so easy with a coded door lock--no key to keep track of. Architecture and decor is a charming mix of modern and antique. Very bright with large windows in living area, pleasant, and relaxing. Note: renters with physical limitations should be capable of managing the gravel path from the parking area, steps up to the patio, and the three steps from inside living area to bedroom/bath.
