Lisa, I am so very sorry that you had a less that excellent experience. I work so very hard to give all of my guests a 5 star experience and have until now been able to accomplish this task. I would appreciate any feedback you can provide specifically in regards to the "kitchen has minimal items" as I believe that the kitchen is well stocked and have taken great care to do so including all kitchen essentials with service for 8 (home only sleeps 4), as well as providing seasonings/spices, cooking spray, zip lock bags, aluminum foil, and to go coffee cups with lids for guests to take their coffee on the go. I also provide tea, coffee, sugar, creamer, granola bars, oatmeal packets, and popcorn. In regards to the "parking was terrible" I have taken great care to be very transparent in my listing that the home has street parking because the provided space is steep and guests do not feel comfortable using it. I also am very clear in the listing that the home is located downtown, just off a highway, and has a potential for noise. You booked this property with this information provided and it saddens me that you then used it to provide a negative review. I am truly sorry that you had to endure loud music as I understand that can be frustrating when trying to sleep. This is not been an issue at our home typically, however it was a holiday weekend (Labor Day) and most likely why this happened during your stay. This is the home that we stay at whenever we are in Lynchburg-I just spent two weeks here in August while moving my daughter into Liberty. Safety has not been an issue. My husband is a law enforcement officer and has no concern with my daughters and I staying here regularly. We know our neighbors and communicate regularly as they look out for our guests and our guests have commented that they are friendly and helpful. I do understand that not all people are comfortable in a downtown environment and should be sure to consider that when booking a home.
