  • Detta hus med 4 sovrum rymmer 10 personer och är den perfekta utgångspunkten för dina äventyr i East Burke. Oavsett om du är här för att cykla, åka skidor, vandra eller helt enkelt koppla av ligger vårt hus bara några minuter från stan och alla aktiviteter. Huset är nyrenoverat och möblerat, med utsikt över dalen mot Darling Hill, bara några minuter från väg 114. Eldstaden utomhus eller den nya verandan är den perfekta platsen att avsluta kvällen eller börja dagen med utsikt över solnedgången över dalen

    Parkeringen vid Kingdom Trail i East Burke Village ligger 6 minuters bilresa bort, Darling Hill Rd. ligger 5 minuters bilresa bort och Burke Mountain ligger 9 minuters bilresa bort.

    Vårt hus utstrålar karaktär vart man än tittar och har ett gemensamt vardagsrum/matsal på nedervåningen samt ytterligare ett gemensamt utrymme på övervåningen. Huset har ett rum med en queen size-säng på nedervåningen och tre sovrum på övervåningen (två små rum med enkelsängar och ett stort master bedroom med en queen size-säng och en enkelsäng). Utöver sängarna finns det en bäddsoffa ( futon ) på övervåningen där den tionde personen kan sova.

    Den stora fristående ladan har gott om förvaringsutrymme för cyklar och skidor.

    Vi tar även emot förfrågningar om långtidsuthyrning. Observera att den inomhusbelägna eldstaden är endast till för dekoration och fungerar inte.

Rustic, but also a bit rough around the edges. Tidy, but not very clean. Had a bear visit twice. Bikable to trails if you are abitious and don't mind ride the main road for a bit.

This was a great, simple place to set up as our home base for a long weekend. The open floor plan of the main area and plenty of bed space made it a perfect set up for our family. The house is very conveniently located with easy access to local trails. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Cool property and great location

The renovated farmhouse had many unique features and art which contributed to create a comfortable atmosphere. The location was perfect for star watching, mountain biking, skiing, trips into The Whites, and excursions to the many excellent small towns (and breweries) nearby. It was a great place to stay.

Great cabin for a family ski trip

The cabin was cozy, clean, and comfortable, with a great kitchen. The owners were very responsive and our family had a great time while skiing at Burke for a few days. We would rent again.

Lots of charm

We came to ride mountain bikes and the location was super convenient. The home was very clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed and the hosts accommodated all of our needs above and beyond what was expected. We would absolutely recommend this stay !

Farmhouse with big yard

We enjoyed our trip to VT with side trips to Lake Willoughby, horseback riding at D and D, and a beautiful trip to Stowe. This house provided every amenity we wanted and the beds were comfortable. I recommend this house.Laurie from CT

We loved the farmhouse! It was a good location for us and 5 adults were able to stay comfortably. The stairs to get upstairs are steep, but manageable. The beds were comfortable. Large bathrooms. The owners communicated quickly. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The house is a beautiful rustic home on a quiet dirt road. If there is a lot of rain it can be muddy and in the spring time I imaging it would be quite muddy. The host was very responsive to any concerns we brought up. It was a great home for pets especially my elderly pups. There is only one step to get into the house and there is a bedroom on the first floor. The stairs to the upper level are quite steep and may not be good for elderly guests. We loved sitting on the front porch and enjoying Vermont.

Perfect House for Bike Group

Stayed with a group for the weekend. Spotlessly clean and creatively remodeled farmhouse. Great location with easy access to KT. Just a few minutes to Darling Hill or town. Kitchen was well appointed and plenty of room for a large group to dine. Properly owner did a great job communicating.

Great stay and perfect for mountain bike adventures!

We were a group of friends looking to enjoy mountain and gravel biking in the area. The farmhouse fit the bill very well! Absolutely loved the Kingdom Trails and all the area had to offer and the farmhouse was very well located, and provided a great home base. A couple of issues on arrival were sorted out well by Gretchen, who was very responsive. All in all, a very good stay. Thanks! We would come back for sure…

I liked it was a farmhouse and beds were comfortable. I did not like the bugs and flies throughout the house the unscreened windows or broken screen in the windows, the ducktaped handle for the microwave, the single ply toilet paper, and how hot it was with an insufficient number if fans and there is no air conditioning.

Satisfaction moyenne

Belle vieille maison avec beaucoup de style et bien équipée en général mais... Certains aspects a corriger à mon avis au niveau de la propreté, entre autre le BBQ qui était dans un coin de la grange dans un endroit sale, la grange en désordre désordre, et malheureusement pas d'endroit pour laisser nos vélo en sécurité. La cuisine semblait propre mais nous avons eu la visite de blattes. Il faisait très chaud durant notre séjour et les 2 fenêtres qui aurait pu aider à ventiler la maison au 2e n'avait pas de moustiquaire viable. L'emplacement est impeccable, beaucoup de potentiel. À notre arrivée il y avait une pile de boîtes laissées là sur la galerie par Prime, nous les avons placés au sous-sol. Il devait y avoir du bois pour le feu extérieur, ce qui n'était pas le cas. Merci!

Great stay, close to KTA

Came with the family to explore NEK and ride in KTA. This home was the perfect home base to relax and plan our adventures. Rooms were well appointed, area was clean, and location was great! The property had a great sitting area and fire pit which helped end the days. Highly recommend!

Quaint rustic house. Very nice views, 5 minutes from Mikes tiki bar and KT biking central. Cozy and comfortable. No dishwasher else well stocked.
