“Clean and comfortable”

“I was overall happy with my stay at the Fairmont FKL, with one very important exception (listed under cons below). Pros: Close to the gondola, has a nice spa and decent gym. Mostly friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Okay level of cleanliness. Cons: Rooms do NOT look like they do in the hotel photos, they are dated and in need of a renovation. “Great room and it all worked well. It was a bit unusual not to have a personal check in, but they had a good solution for it. The joint bathroom was good, although it felt like there were many rooms to that one bathroom. The stairs up was a challenge with suitcases and a poor back. “When you arrive, you have to go triangle motel to check in. Would have been nice to know before you start unloading. It was clean and a decent place to stay”

“Very good for family, good breakfast but no markers on the food items, had to ask if items contain dairy, meat, eggs etc, Clean rooms, good amenities, we missed microwave for kids milk as the cafeteria was very far away, very scenic surrounded by tall mountains, close to all good eating places and hot springs.
