Hotell nära Maaliyadda Beach

“Værelserne er fine, rengøring er rigtig god og hotellet ligger ud til den skønneste strand, som du nærmest har for dig selv. Det ligger kun 15 min gågang væk fra skønne hiriketiya og endnu kortere væk fra gode restauranter. Det der gør dette hotel godt er deres fantastisk søde og hjælpsomme personale, der virkelig tager sig af en. De hjalp os med at komme på hospitalet, da vi akut fik brug for det og sendte endda personale med til at agere tolk for os.”

“Very nice hosts, super service minded! The house is close to the Dickwella beach, on the opposite side of the main road. 2 miles away is the awesome surf beach Hirikitya. Our room was spacious with a large new bathroom and efficient AC. If you like Sri Lankan food, ask to swap the continental breakfast to Sri Lankan! The house can be a bit tricky to find, look for a sign after the ATM.”

“Nice and comfy room. Beautiful garden with many beautiful birds and other wildlife. Close to the beach. Plus is for the distance to Galle Road (which is very noisy). The dinner was good, but far from great. The curry’s are way to salty. Same as for the breakfast (don’t try the chocolate pancakes). Beautiful place and very friendly staff. - Big minus for the hotels own landfill that you see if you take a walk outside the fences. They should really clean that up. Not ok! ”

“Helt underbart avkopplande att spendera ett par dagar här. Att ha duschen under bar himmel är grymt och att inte ha fönster och knappt väggar är annorlunda och fantastiskt. A/C behövs inte när nattens vinds sveper genom rummet...Härlig pool och miljö i området. Några få restauranger utanför som kompletterar hotellets buffé (som är ganska dyr). Härligt med yoga på morgon och kväll (extra kostnad)”

“The place is difficult to find, after booking they should send an email with a map to get there. The room is basic but clean. Good size room and bathroom. There is a fan but not a/c and during the night it is quite hot. Only cold water. There is a mosquito net but it is too short so mosquitoes get in the sleeping area. Basic breakfast with bread, jam, bananas and tea. They could provide sri Lankan breakfast if requested. It is possible to use a sort of sun bed provided at the first...

“Contro: 20 minuti di cammino in salita per arrivare giù in paese o in spiaggia tutti di strada dissestata e non illuminata, con tuk tuk costo 500, 1000 lr. Contro: gestito da due ragazzi di 18 e 20 anni che NON parlano inglese.
